just send the cue back i have sent 3 cues to a guy on here on a trade for 1 cue he had and he was out of town so i sent mine right away so his wife would let him know i was for real and kept up my end of the deal and at the end of the week when he got back he sent me my cue and it was just as he said trust is a big thing when dealing with other on the net i trusted him and he did what he said he would do and i think if you give this guy the chance he will take care of you and if not you just come back on here and out him if he will make his name bad for a $75 cue and no 1 is that dumb atleast i hope not but if i sold you a cue and you asked for your $$ back i would ask you to send the cue back if it is warped as you say i would send your $$$ right away that is how the game is played TRUST

You can't walk into Walmart and demand a refund without the merchandise in trade. This is no different. Your not getting any money until cue is in hand, if you send cue and have proof of delivery with no refund then you have a right to complain. Until then you are the reason you don't have your money.
Also you aren't the first guy to get a warped cue in the mail hundreds of stories how the mailman Ruined somebody's cue.

You have been made a very generous offer by an esteemed member here (see above).
You have also been given some good advice by a number of other knowledgeable members who understand the dynamic between buyers and sellers, very well.
Send the cue back, make sure to get the optional delivery confirmation receipt that costs less than a buck, and allow the seller to make good on the deal.
On the off chance he doesn't refund your money, you now have backup with an az member.
You're in a no-lose situation.

I just got it i believe its used. The shaft was slightly warped when i got it. Then i broke with it and it got worse. Dont make much sense. I can straighten it back to where its slightly warped but then does it again next break! It breaks good i like it but the shaft seems like junk... my local cue maker said he'd make me a shaft for around 75. Which isnt bad but he'll make me a brand new break cue for 220ish

This is a bit confusing, most cues are sold as described with one shaft or two. If you buy a cue with one shaft, it has one shaft, if the guy states it's a cue with two shafts you get two. You read what was described wrong, or he wrote it wrong (or at least not in the standard way) but either way it's all in how you understand what was written. If I wrote a cue with one shaft or a cue "AND" one shaft, it's can be either or depending on how critical you get of the wording. If he said "A CUE PLUS AN *EXTRA* shaft" then you can rightly expect two shafts.

Though I still can't see sending $ to buy something as squishy as 'I thought I had bought a cue & and a shaft.'
...unless I was hoping to make a move of my own on the seller.

Here in frankaise Canadia we say, "I'd like a 2 piece 'a shafts sunny side up, eh" when we want two. I suppose south of the, "God said permanent snow from here up" line you might say something like, "I'd like butt, and and a shaft." We'd be lost down there and just think you were stuttering.
Let me explain it this way, you buy a cue at Walmart. You get home and discover it's warped. Do you go back to the store to get your money back empty handed? Or do you take the cue back?
It's the same no matter where you make the purchase. Unless you know somebody personally, they will require the merchandise to be brought back before giving a refund.

If you want to return something, you have to return the item before you get the refund. 99% of online places have this policy, and most make you click a box agreeing to this before you buy, or when you sign up.
