It is like the fights I used to have with my wife, except one is like her, and the other is like her too.
My ex-wife could remember every single thing I ever did wrong, even by the date, possibly the time +/- an hour.
Yea some people just cant help but ***** n cry about tge same shit over n over. They are too stupid to just simply ignore it.. especially on a forum.....not like anyone is forcin a gun tonya head and making to read everyones post.

No offer was made that night that I was able to take as being serious. If Brian asked and I said I would have to think about it, then you guys were left hanging. If you guys wanted to bet so bad, and Brian wanted to do a solid for his buddy so bad, you could have posted on AZ that night "How do I get a hold of Lou?" and I'm sure someone would have called or texted me before we flew out flew out next day. Once my partner and I knew there was serious offer we would have been changing plane reservations. Bottom line: you guys really didn't want to go again and were happy to be let off the hook.
As to St. Louis, meh. One thing the run up to our match taught me is to not believe a single, solitary, itty-bitty word you say

After Derby I said let's double the bet and freeze up the WHOLE 40 - this AFTER you claimed to have UNLIMITED backing.
I repeated my offer at least two more times before SBE. Not a peep.
Then.....on the first day of SBE when I am guaranteed to be super busy and not paying attention to the match or any pre-match barking, you try and come over the top with and offer to raise it by 15k.
I spend the next five days putting in 16-18 hour days working. Thanks for the raise though because it brought people to the booth to ask me about it. But I was fairly pissed off that I asked you to raise it several times and freeze it all up and you didn't respond at all.
So when it got to game time I was in no mood to accommodate you AND the money was better spent invested in cases which bring me a far greater return than beating you could ever bring. I played and bet what I wanted to bet when the coin was flipped. That you didn't get to bet more is your own fault.

You stayed calm and played a decent game. You made some great shots under pressure and dogged some and overall it was a game among equally skilled players with wildly different styles in my opinion. I did enjoy it and I thank you for really showing up to play. I know it would have been a tremendous blow had I won, much more than the money. So for you to actually show up was big for me, shows me that you do have some balls even if most of them were owned by your backer.

John you are like a one man resuscitation team that will not quit, that is a wonderful thing keep trying to bringing some person who suffered a acute cardiac arrest back to life. But sometimes you can not.
But having done this hundreds of times for real or real victims there comes a point when you have to look at the person you are trying to save, or bring back to life & realize the pupils are fixed, dilated, and the heart is straight line.

As for cowhide, you still don't know crap about it. Off the cow, tanned, it still ain't an inch thick! Proves you don't know what goes on at the tannery. Many things can be used to tan leather. Some damage it far more than others and some go on damaging the leather for years to come. chinese tanneries have shown a willingness to go the cheap route that creates low quality leather and health issues in their workers, but being the "expert" "you know that"!
As for your dislocated shoulder for weeks, mine fell out all the time for over a year, that happens when the joint is shattered and the rotator cuff torn. During that time I gambled at pool over forty hours a week every week betting large and small. I fought with a pro ball player with his entourage thrown in for good measure. I rode off road motorcycles, rank horses, and wild women! :thumbup:

So far I haven't seen any verification that you would recognize a piece of leather if you saw one without a label on it!

Most leather workers don't see the hide as it comes off the cow Hu. I did say the unprocessed hide is about 1" thick and I was mistaken. Thing is pal I wasn't making it up, I was simply mistaken but the information I was giving was 100% accurate as to splits and grains.
We see the hides as tanned pieces ready to be worked into goods. You picked on one small detail ignoring the overall content which was accurate. It doesn't matter to the CONSUMER if the hides are 1" or .5" when they are cut off the cow. The point was to explain what a SPLIT is versus a TOP GRAIN piece and weights.
As for your story of beating your buddy - big deal. I was gambling in Charleston for good money with a dislocated shoulder for weeks after I got out of the Air Force, ask Whitey Spach, the owner of Bypass Billiards. Notice you only beat up on your helpless friends and didn't go hunting down Johnny Archer with your scratched shoulder.

Let me ask you to try and think logically for about 60 seconds.
Why would I say that a cowhide is about 1" thick when it's stripped from the cow?
Do you think I simply made it up? If so what possible purpose would that serve if it's something easily disproven?
Or is possible that I either had the wrong information - since I don't skin cows - OR that I misspoke?
Because the IMPORTANT part of what I was saying is not how thick a cowhide is when it is removed from the cow but what the differences are in grades and types of leather. As in the TOP layer is the Top grain and all other layers are called splits.
Do you HONESTLY think I just made up a cowhide thickness just to be impressive or something? And if so then why pick a number that is easy to disprove? Would be kind of stupid don't you think?

Handtooled and sculpted decoration requires veg tan leather and only veg tan. no other leather works as well and no synthetic works at all as a canvas for hand carved and tooled designs. there is simply no other material on earth that I know of which works as well as veg tan leather to make the range of decorated items that can be made with it. so if you want a case that looks like www.jbcases.com/palacegarden.html this then your only practical method is to use leather.
You obviously don't know anything about leather or tanning. Show us some pictures of you in tanneries, you skinning cows, you making stuff.....

As much as I enjoyed watching you take his money in the PPV, there is no other case I would want to own if I had unlimited finances. Regardless of your opinion, his publicity works, and I consider his cases elite, top of the line, best quality, and unfortunately just out of my budget for now. The fact that his cases are considered upper echelon, at the very least in my opinion and also in many others, makes me want to refute your statement, as his publicity is still working strong.
