JimBo's collection

Speaking of Meucci, Bob is making me a cue I am calling "Torture". I don't think anyone has seen anything like it(would never think of being a copycat :D ) and I know it's gonna hit a TON!

Tony I knew that some of you AZ snobs would have this to say about my collection, but the Piano cue as well as the Tomahawk are 2 very rare cues and are worth more then many of these so called *Custom* cuemakers today. Did I mention these cues all HIT A TON!!!! I would also mention that Bob Meucci is amung the top cue makers when it comes to unique and original designs, the man should be in the HOF just for his designs. Jim
Agreed, without a doubt Bob Meucci is one of the most creative cuemakers of all time when it comes to designs. It is just a sad fact that the last several years his execution and choice of materials have led to very poorly made cues that makes him deserving of the bad reputation he currently has.

Thanks for the kind words Hal2, it's good to see that this place isn't just filled with cue snobs.

when I first started playin', I used meucci's. I had one I bought and never have seen another one. it was a limited edition with "bone"? inlays in it. the cue was primarily red, 4 points, and looked really sweet...+ it had 3 shafts! this was back in the day when I'd sell a cue only cause I had no money due to no job and still in high school, but really wish I had THAT cue back...it was gorgeous and played pretty well too...for a meucci! lol I'd show ya' but can't even find a pic of it anywhere...I have looked for nostalgia, but no luck. anyone know what model I'm talkin' about here? HELP!!!!!!!!! lol

When you first started??? When you were broke???Wasn't that last year? How did you lose the pics in such a short time??

You lose Scott, I posted the third pic, if you paste all 3 pics together you have the whole cue, sadly I had to trade that cue to get the Tomahawk cue, sure I had to throw in a little cash on top of the Scruggs, but for such a rare find I feel it was worth it. I hope the new owner doesn't mind me posting the pics of his cue. I thought I was robbing.

Marcus the reason for me posting these pics was for all those who can't make it, I feel I am doing a service to all my friends here in AZ.
Thanks for the kind words, I don't have as many as you have Tasc's but I think you'll agree some of mine are rare. I'm still searching for a few more to round out my collection, I think the fun is in the search.

Jim <---Always looking

OK, that's good. But I think I'll get you on this one. I have a Meucci that's still straight. Well, sort of.

TOTALLY AGREED, THE SEARCH IS THE FUN. HAVE A GOOD TIME FOR BOTH OF US AT THE ICC, AND IF YOU TAKE ANY PICS OUT THERE, I WOULD BE APPRECIATIVE IF YOU SHARED.

Ditto!

I laughed at too!

lol.. funny thing is.. i would never have guess that the joint was purple heart also... and from the pics that you did show. it is easy to deduce what the rest of the cue looks like.. from the box points with the ovals cut through each point.. the only thing that we dont know is if there are extra inlays in between the points... but hey.. thanx for the mental picture.. lol...

chris

Wait a minuite!

Is that one of the cues featured in that article about Timi and his cues? Looks familiar!
