Jimmy Mendoza at Hard Times

Good luck to Jimmy M.! :)

It is nice to see the brackets. This sure is a full field. What a great way to start off the new year! Tony Chohan and Amar Kang must have had a long night because they are MIA, looking at the chart. I couldn't help but notice some cute names, though, "Baby Ray" and "Catfish"! :D

Looks like things are happening in California this week! :)

Yup, it is going to be a busy January. Upa event, Derby City, Music City.

Amar and Tony probably stayed in Sacramento for the Hardtimes 1st weekend of the month 1-Pocket and 9-Ball.

Looks like Jimmy lost a nailbiter in his first match, but he's already shown he can beat the top players, got get em Jimmy!

Looks like Jimmy is lining them up and knocking them down out there.

Posted wins over Montalvo, Castillo and Luna. He is playing in the last match of the night against Frank Almanza and I will have a result on that match on Sunday.

Mike

Jimmy scored a hill-hill win over Frank Almanza in the final match of the night last night. That should put him in the money today.

Mike

His screen name is Jimmy M.

Frank Almanza was playing really good yesterday, so Jimmy hopefully is in stroke.

Looks like Jimmy caught a gear. He's been knocking off some of the best lately. Playing on those small pocket tables, like the one at home is paying off. Go get em Jimmy!!

I told him not to call me back if he loses his next match. I'd be sick!

Another update and three more wins for Jimmy on the one-loss side. 7-0 over Gerardo Jamito. That is hitting them pretty good.

Mike

Jimmy is totally capable of beating anybody on those tight tables. Looks like he has a chance to win the tournament. It looks like a lot of tough players showed up. I recognize a lot of them, and they're all hard to beat. I wish Jimmy well!

Well I'll be damn, Jimmy's a world beater! He knows those tables as well as anyone so I pick him as the favorite from here.
