Doesn't he still own and run Jimmy's Pro Billiards up in Minneapolis? That was the last I had heard. Use to like watch him play on the Camel tour.

Jimmy's Pro Billiards

They recently added kitchen, newly expanded menu! and a bunch of the Diamond tournament 7 fts. Many people forget that Jimmy is a good teacher now. Mark

Now if he could get alcohol in there that place could make some real money.

He was in the booth with Danny D last night on Accu-Stats Live from the Masters 10-Ball Tournament !

Very good teacher. The pool hall owner here in town used to be in on a pool hall with Jimmy quite some years ago. So when I first started playing pool about 6 years ago I was fortunate enough to receive a lesson from Jimmy. Laid down some solid fundamentals and has a very neat insite on the game. Best lesson I've ever received to date.

I don't spend alot of time there but when I am there so is he. I don't see him pick up a cue much but if you have a question about the game he is always willing to take the time to show you a few things.

Not playing much right now.........

Jimmy was playing a little but was having a little trouble getting to the level that he likes which is playing awful good.

He teamed up with another partner and they really stuck alot of money into the old place.

They have strong beer now and one of the best little kitchens in the Twin Cities.

Mario Parona, one of the best players in the area is his main chef. He worked with Ty and greg at Two Stooges for years. 2 things Mario knows is food and pool. I practice with him every chance I get.

They also took out a bunch of the 9 footers and put in about 10 7 ft diamonds.

It's good to see the old poolhall get some life again. This overhaul was really great and gave us another top notch poolhall to play at in the Twin Cities.

Jimmy just got married and I wish him all the luck in the world with that.

They're also having some good little tournys there.

I think Jimmy's Pro Billiards will be around for a long time now and that's a good thing for the pool world.

And Jimmy is always there or at least most of the time.

If you get to the Twin Cities you really need to stop there and say hi, enjoy some good food and maybe a beer or two and talk to one of the all time greater players in the world.

Not playing much right now but I think that if he really decided to be fully commited again Jimmy would be one of the top players again.

Check it out for sure..................

Thats great to hear that will attract some league players for sure. I will have to stop in and check out the new diggs.

Jimmy Wetch from Minneapolis, MN, not to be confused with Jim "Wych" from Canada (now living in Vegas)

To clarify: Jimmy Wetch is one of the all-time great road players of his generation. Jim Wych is THE MOST ANNOYING announcer in the biz, bar none.

There was a well regarded instructor in the Bay Area (north of San Francisco, actually) named Ed Nagle who supposedly helped Jimmy at some point.

If anyone has a chance to talk to Jimmy, maybe they can ask him about Ed and post what he says.

I think your right Samm........

I'm pretty sure that our Jimmy Wetch here in the Twin Cities wasn't the one in the booth.

Good Call.............

They now have strong beer and wine! (Well, not wine yet, at least as of a couple weeks ago, they hadn't decided what wine to carry) But they have bottled beer and wine coolers/mikes hard lemon-aid.
