Joe Rogan - Future Mosconi Potential???

Reminds me of the speed thread here...looks like Joe is getting speed working. In line for every shot...pretty much.

He's got a solid game, though I hope the thread title is in jest. Unless Dana White is trying some new cross sport promotion. Earl in the octagon maybe?

Hardly........must be a post from some buddy or relative.

Pleez......8 balls......none were on the rails.......nary a cluster anywhere.......any damn APA 5 rating can do that..........Rogan's grip looks like it belongs on a bat more than a cue.

Nah, much better fundamentals than the average C player. He has a nice set up, very methodical, just lacks the fluidity and speed control that comes with playing more often.

This. Joe can play some. An APA 5 would botch that run halfway through.

Thanks for the vid...

Where/when was this? Vegas??

King Kong playing in background. Brian Parks cruzes by. Jay Helfert and Frank dabarbr having a look. Mad Max soaking it up, smiling as ever.

Joe, looks like he has been listening to Max...fundmentals look good. He stays down well. 'Cept on break...lost cb a bit.

Justin can't catch a break....

ps: Brian Parks reminds me of Jordan Spieth, the golfer.

Go to Vegas at the APA Nationals and see what some of those 5 ratings from the East Coast achieve.......undoubtedly the result of creative accounting.........anyway, you can spot a good stroke and his is just average.............he can pocket balls on an open table but really...... praising his pool skills from that short video is just silly........you offer praise and credit when it's earned not because you like someone.......and that performance doesn't warrant any compliments in my opinion.......It was an ordinary.

He has been obviously working with Max Eberle. Max is the King of pool mechanics. Only thing he needs to work on is his speed setting up his stance. The pre-shot routine needs to become more natural also.

Just my 2 cents.

The video of Joe was uploaded to YouTube on February, 2010, so it is heading toward six years ago. And that is when it was uploaded to YouTube, the video is older than that.

If he was shooting that was good in 2010, then I'd imagine his game has improved quite a bit by this time.
If that's the case, he might have evolved into a pretty pool player. Hanging out with top name pool players
like he's able to do, well, your pool skills should improve just by way of visual osmosis observing their superior
play up close. Yeah, I think over the last 1/2 decade, Joe would have turned into a pretty strong stick by now.

Joe

Seems to be a "regular" guy and I am very glad he likes pool.
The more exposure for our pasttime the merrier!!

Over analyzing his pool game to the point of questioning his credebility is f*cking pathetic!!!!

I love how everyone on here criticizes him. He's pretty good! I swear, people complain or ***** about anything around here. What happened to being supportive and friendly? F that, I suppose?

He's a nice guy, has a solid game & promotes & brings attention to the sport. What's not to like?

I would be willing to guess that Joe plays better than 75% of the people on this forum (just throwing out a # as a guess). He still has the 7 if he wants it on the barbox :D
