Wow...just got back from the US Open and I got a message from Greg Ghost about me screwing Joel and a bunch of BS? I will follow up with Joel to find out what's going on.

First I don't know who you are and where you got your information. Second, I have never screwed Joel and he is great to work with and have gone above and beyond my expectation. I highly respect Joel and if there was any issue Joel would have contacted me directly.

Yes, Joel did some repairs for me and helped me converted so of my blanks that I've sold on ebay and here on AZ. Joel taper for the shafts and construction technique is solid and to this day I still have one of the conversion that he made for me. In fact, I still have a conversion that I used as my playing cues for years now that I have told other is one my best playing cue and still is my playing best cue from hundreds that I have played with. I have used this cue to beat Mika Immonen in a blaze tour tournament who is now the 2009 US Open champ.

Everywhere I go, I have received praise and compliment on how great the cue plays. I have shown this cue to a lot of professional players in Canada and US, most recently to Jose Parica and Mike Dechaine who praise the playability of his cue.

No,still looking for someone to make a shaft for my Weinstock. I have 2 original shafts, but they are 12.2 mm and 12.3 mm. I need 12.8-13 mm. Thanks

Really sorry Elwood for ruining your thread.

In regards to your question...I think only Joel would be qualified to build a replica shaft for you but any decent builder should be able to replica the taper on the original shaft if it has already changed. The way he choose his shaft qaulity plus his custom taper make the cue plays they way the do, Great!!
