Does he have any managment skills?
Can he control his temper?
Will he still need a hand out to play in tournaments overseas?

I think Jay Helfert should be the President of a National Tour.

I am a Controller for 4 small companies (annual sales 30,000,000). I help manage the companies with the owner. I probably would do better job than you but that isn't saying much.

You certainly are a world class player with a ton of talent and I have all the respect for you as a player but I have no clue how much experience you have in running a business.

honestly i dont think one player should be pres of tour.
everything should be group vote and all the players have input.

as far as my management skills .
try being a proplayer for ten years without killing someone and you might think ive got great management skills.

the basketball and football stars are paid millions and have entourages doing everything for them and they still get in trouble all the time.


ive managed to be my own cook,driver,bodyguard, physcologist, lover lol, gamemaker,backer, etc and stayed out of trouble.

anyway let there be a tour worth talking about and i will be sure to try and help anyway i can.

Jay can control his temper?????

Read his book Pool Wars and tell me that. :wink: j/k. I think he has a temper but he has remarkable control over it, IMO. He thinks far better than most men in difficult situations, at least in the stories he shares in the book which are genuinely enjoyable to read.
