John Schmidt runs 820

So, let ask this, Y'all think Mosconi's 526 is just a 'Footnote' now?
Show me the video.

Y'all didn't believe Smitty's original '626'!

Even with a video! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
I didn't - still haven't watched it either but this 800 I started watching through 200 (missed the foul - their bad lol) and kinda got into the flow he got without the 9 baller effect. I like that he got through that many racks in the first place. Learn some pool etc...

I can understand, let's say someone of Your caliber claiming to run 526 balls You wouldn't believe!

But, You don't believe the Greatest Straight Pool player at the time for 20 years did! Wow!

Maybe this will refresh Your memory!

Yep, fouled that 11 ball.
Unless there are other fouls then this run is a 672 which is still an incredible run. Yes he missed the 6 ball by a whole diamond from the center of the table and the pocket swallowed the ball in. I haven’t watched the run but for those that have I’m sure they will call him out for the foul and the table.Jayson certainly didn’t get the same treatment and got scolded for a foul that didn’t even happen on his 714. Hello Bob Jewett you wanna comment on the foul?
I’m staying out of it.

Pretty sure JS or SSOP or whomever said they weren't submitting this for official verification and didn't comb though it yet to see if any OB fouls occurred, and if they did, it wouldn't matter since they were't submitting. (ps, I have Shaw at 714, not 66x or whatever it got reduced to).

IMO, that's the right way to do this.

JS did it right this time, I'm guessing with advice from SSOP. He made a stratosphere high run, used that attention to release the 626, then the 820 right afterwards. He has it all linked to instructional sales from SSOP, and accepting donations addresses displayed throughout the 626 and 820.

I’m not sure what that even means not submitting for verification. Had a 833 or higher been made you could bet the house something would have been sent in.
It’s real simple at least one foul happened and the run stops at that shot. Jayson’s 714 has nothing to do with this run. The BCA made Shaw’s run a 669 because they referred to WPA tournament rules as all high runs now are under the WPA guidelines. It’s simple there is no 820 run. I really was hoping there was no fouls or a gaffed table but now I’m disappointed. I even congratulated John for his accomplishment. So it’s 672 unless other fouls are found. Bob Keller and John should concede to a new number and correct the information put out before it gets out and gets worse press. I am staying out of it but will always reply with facts when questioned.

The run may not qualify for consideration but AFAIC, he went 800+ without missing. Complete run for all intents and purposes.
