JohnnyT's "Hustling under the radar"

Thanks for a good read, JohnnyT ! I've never hustled a game or been hustled (at least not on a pool table), so I can't speak from experience, but your story sure seems like the Cliff's notes to the "Pool Hustling for Dummies" book. Thanks again!

Hustle......

I really enjoyed that story. Just read it all. Sounded like like my tiny little action in San Diego, Anahiem in mid sixties, then Newport News, Hampton and Norfolk till 1970. ........Believe him folks, he is dead on on the hustle rule. My gig was two hours on a 9 footer at the pool hall then off to the bars. Those were the good old bad days........

I don't believe I ever played pool in Leesburg. I made nice scores in Orlando, Pompono Beach, and Ocala in the early 1980's though. Thanks for the kind words. Johnnyt

Hit your hips!

For chissakes fellas, dont be afraid to spend that tough .49 cents. Johnny has provided us with a terrific read. A realistic portrayal of the hustler's world. Light years ahead of what those idiotic movies, Pool Hall Junkies or Chalk would lead you to believe that pool hustling was all about.

Amazing what folks will go through to not spend 1/2 a buck. You'd think they were going to have to skip lunch for a week.
