A REAL Player!!

I have watched him in a number of cities.., of all the young guns I think he is the best all around player by far. One Pocket, the best, 8 Ball as good as any of them, 9 & 10 Ball he is close to any of them, only in banks would I put him behind Justin Hall.

If he starts playing more tournaments he will go down as one of the best ever. His gamble is already proven and growing, stay at it Josh!

josh is an awesome player. i've seen him play in myrtle beach a couple times. kid is definitely an extremely strong one pocket player, and his 9 ball game isn't far behind. if i'm not mistaken he finished pretty high at the DCC this year.

Josh just won Scott Frost big one pocket event he beat Jeremy Jones
Scott and double dipped Justin Bergman in the finals the guy can play
he is known for big action matches

I can remember in 2006 when he'd casually slide into King Street Billiards coming up from SC with JayBird or Saez and get played all the time (and get beat too by some of the guys in that room)...now I see him and it's like he's a different type of beast out there. I smile when people say he's stealing or compliment his game cause there are plenty that remember it wasn't always what it is now. These are good threads on AZ

My how things change!

I remember talking to Cliff about him and Cliff told me that the kid plays good, now Cliff says that the kid can REALLY PLAY! At 32 the skys the limit for Josh, just got to take care of himself.

Jeremy Jones offered him a ball in Houston, WTF!! But Jeremy couldn't get anyone to back the game, no surprise!!!

If you call 32 a young gun, then he definitely isn't the top young gun. Shane would be put in that same category, and Josh isn't the favorite to beat Shane in any game that I know of.

Bergman is on fire as of late...... His game is getting stronger every day..... Ice berge all the way

the end of that tournament definitely begs to differ with bergman being a favorite over josh in one pocket. anybody know the scores from the two matches in the finals?
