Here is a beauty I just picked up from Leon Sly. It's an early Joss from 68'-74??? It has a Micarta Joint and 3/8 x 10 pin. It came with 2 original shafts and one made by Rauenzahn. Cue weighs 19.5 ounces and plays out of this world.

That was Raist Chin's cue.

Raiste won his team the national championship on the $10,000.00 table final game. I can't rember if the table was awarded to him and was set up in his house.
After he won he was taken directly to the hospital.
He was not going to let his team forfit. And that Joss Cue was his player.
Congrats,
Nick :)

I'm glad that this great Joss cue went to such a good home. Hope you continue to love playing with it. I sold my nice Joss collection to enable Leon Sly to purchase his new c&c machine. It will all work out. Thanks Nick for posting that fine history on this Joss. I'm sure the buyer will cherish it even more.

Wow, I had no idea. Thanks for posting Nick. Is Raiste ok? What happened?

After playing with it for 3 days I'm even more in love with it. What a cue all the way around.
