Joss Sneaky Values?

Found a Joss Sneaky like the one below.. Don't know much about them. the only markings I see are under the finish on the forearm near the Joint. Shaft doesn't seem to perfectly match the joint either. Can anyone give me an estimate of value? based just on the make/Model of the pictured cue below? (Not the actual cue)

I know you can get a new one from Pooldawg for like $220.00 so used with blemishes would push it down into the $175.00 (max) ballpark for me.

that's being a little generous imo. i'd say right around 150. just because all cues are selling for less these days

I have a similar Joss...the grip part is purple heart.
I paid $150 for it about 12 years ago.
...wouldn't take a g-note for it now...plays great.
 
i've been shooting with my joss sneaky since the mid 90's which now has an original z shaft / kamui black medium tip and it still plays great, i was offered 300 for it recently i just smiled and said no thanks

Is it common for the logo..

So with the stamped logo under the finish is that normal? no markings on the butt at all. Does this aspect help to dial in the date on it more?

If it doesnt have the joss logo in block letters on the butt, its a fairly new model. Those can be had on ebay brand new for $150 plus shipping. If it was an older one with the gold letters and the logo of a hand making a bridge, its worth more than a brand new one. Ive had a couple of those gold letter joss cues and they play freakin great. The new ones play good too, but that old wood just seems better.

Well, you certainly made me take a second look at my statement....
...which is always a good thing.

But I have to tell you that in '78 I had a snooker cue that retailed for
$40 before I tweaked it (just had the ferrule changed and tapered a
wee bit)...I was offered $800 for it at the Rack and would not sell it.

I'm one of those guys that think it's 'the arrow AND the indian".

I was in enough action that if a cue allowed me to play 1% better,
then it was worth a lot more than $800.

Just so happens I shot with one a few weeks ago that an elderly fella had. It played real good,great. It tweaked my curiosity so I done a little research. Your cue with the logo under the finish and only other identification is joss on the rubber bumper. It is a discontinued model sneaky. The new or newer ones have a black collar and/or Joss on the bottom of the butt. What its worth is what someone will give you.
