I know for a fact that every player was emailed RG's email address.

There is strength in numbers. The best thing the players can do is unite. A lot of people have talked to lawyers and more are looking for lawyers. IMO, common sense says the best way to go about this is as a group preferrably with one lawyer or the least amount of lawyers. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong about this, but this is what seems to make the most sense.

I think KT is trying to force you guys to settle and once you do, he's going to close up and go about his merry way. He's got his weight loss book coming out soon. He needs to get you guys out of his hair so that he can focus on that. He knows you want/need the money & thinks you're desperate enough to settle for whatever he wants to offer you.

I say you guys force him to give in, pay up in full, and then go on his merry way.

Yes the one lawyer is a great idea since all the players have the same case. Plus they all could chip in on the fees. And i think for some reason that makes the case look more solid. Im tellin ya if i was in the situation i would be all for it no dought i mean it bugs me and im not even close to being involved.

No need to correct you Timberley. One qualified lawyer, representing all of the players is the most cost efficient and ideal way to pursue legal recovery.

I think that there will be several conditions attached to his settlement offer, including a full release, possibily a confidentiality clause and a gag order. If he intends on extending the IPT tour, he may also require that the player participate in the tournament(s). And he can still default on the next two payments, if it serves his purposes.

I also believe that he fully intends on continuing having qualifier tournaments as a means of income and hopes that this will quite most of the noise and increase participation.

Does anyone know what Harry Platis, the attorney from Washington State, thinks about this whole situation? Does anyone know if any player has contacted him? He is probably one of the most pool wise attorneys in the U.S. If there was a real chance of nailing KT I would think he would have jumped at this case on a contingency basis. Just wondering.

Yes, I spoke with him initially and posted it on here somewhere and then I called him again tonight...er, last night. He asked me specifically not to make public what his advice was about the current situation. He was happy that the case seems to be in capable lawyer's hands.

I'm sure they need you tpo tell them what to do.........(YOU WANNA BE KNOW IT ALL)
But they are not stupid! I relly don't think they care what a pool player groupie thinks anyway.
In other words...................SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know Jacster, you never offer anything constructive on any thread. All you do is take pot shots at the posters who you obviously do not like. GET A LIFE!!!

He may be dead but he did ask some pretty good questions.

Just what are Timberly's qualifications? What is her educational background? Why is she so determined to press the issue? Is she on a personal vendeta? Will she get a cut of the lawyer's action?

Jake, stop being ignorant.

There were roughly 3 weeks there where you behaved in a decent, rational manner. Sadly you've reverted back to how you're acting now.

I don't understand how Eydie thought he was Frenchy. We know Frenchy, and his English vocabulary is very limited. Frenchy is good at balancing things on his nose, but only uses short choppy sentences with basic English words. Some of the posts we saw, Jasper used words that would just never come out of Frenchy's mouth, and the way the sentences were constructed, just could not have been him. Plus the fact that we know he is hot at the situation.

I agree that Jasper was a shill, but I really don't think it was Frenchy. I would hate for him to become a member later and be faced with paranoia and distaste from people who thought he was Jasper.

Totally understand your position. Thanks.
