many of you did not know him, i understand...

but i just want to say he was ""SPECIAL"" here

he died a few years ago but he had a wish to help those with heart disease.

Why does this still bring a tear to my eye? :confused: His memory should bring many laughs and chuckles to me but it doesn't. :sad:
 
How quickly people forget...:(

Doug was a smart old dude, and he made me laugh daily. I still think fondly of him sometimes.

He knew it was coming for a long time, it's amazing that he kept his sense of humor for as long as he did.
 
I haven't spit pop on my monitor laughing since Smorg left us......

Doug was a good guy, I knew him LONG before I came to AZ. A lot of people now here knew him from the old usenet newsgroup rec.sport.billiard.

I didn't know you're friend, but I suffer from the same illness, so I really appreciate your bringing attention to it. :thumbup2:

i think you joined our group a little late [bout 3 years] to know Smorgass Bored...

all i can tell you is, he was the reason so many of us logged on as soon as we were able due to his wit and humor

so sri to hear of your heart trouble, i wish you wellness!
