Here is a cue I just finished the clear and shafts on tonight. It is a customers cue. So yes , it is sold.
Cocobola points (6) and Cocobola buttsleeve with a very figured Birdseye maple forarm. The ringwork is at all locations and it has 2 13mm shafts. Radial pin.
Just waiting on the wrap to come in. Just something about Cocobola,Birdseye , and Brass.

Cue finish

Really nice work Jim! Great color combinations and overall design. Thanks for taking the time to post up pics for us to drool over.
 
Thanx guys. Wish my camera skills were better. The owner was very happy. Will be picking it up this weekend. The fit and finish on this cue really sets off the figure in the cue. I was very pleased.

what did you decide on for the wrap on that cue?

Everytime I see pictures of that cue, I want it....
I would love to have that same cue, but with a birdseye handle!
 
The owner is going with a walnut brown with black spec linen. We could make that cue happen for you John. Just happen to have all the woods just lying around to build such a cue for you.

Nice Jim! Thats a good looking finish on there. And those camera skills are looking just fine. My mentor Doug is all fired up about getting with you about his order :)

nice cue.i like how you managed to use natural and black phenolic.not something we see everyday and it looks good.

Very Nice looking cue Jim, I really like the combinations of woods and other materials. I also like the finish, it looks like glass, and it really amplifies the character of the woods used.
 
Thanx Craig , I have worked on the finish of my cues for years. I have finally found the secret in the past few years of that type of shine.
Yes Rookie , I will post some completed pics of this one once it is wrapped. Will be wrapped and completed today.
