Justis West cases

I have a very nice older Jack Justis case that I would most likely not get rid of. What is the price for a bottom line Justis case, nothing fancy from Jack.

Hi guys,

I though I explained why I could not take your orders at Valley Forge or Vegas. At that time I was backlogged with orders that I knew I would not be able to fill for several months. Taking additional orders would put me even deeper in the hole. It is now the middle of June and we are finally getting caught up and the plan worked. In Vegas, we did start taking names and before we left, the list had grown to 26. Everything is moving along now and we currently taking orders with a 30 day turn around.

Its funny how information gets changed over time.....I will continue making cases as long as I can but just not as many as I did in the past. I still plan on doing something special with a limited number of cases next year.

im not mad. i also dont understand how time changed the information. you said you werent taking orders reguardless of the resaon end result is still the same. as a matter of fact i called you a month before valley forge to order 4 cases jazzed up with names (2 of them pros) and you still said no. you make the best case in the world IMO. i paid you a compliment why get bent out of shape?

Seems like he was just clarifiying a point not getting mad or bent out of shape. It makes sense that if he was backlogged enough to not take orders at 2 of the biggest events of the year he was probably backlogged BEFORE he went to those events. Therefore it would make no sense to take more orders.

But by the sound of it you might be able to order your cases now if you choose....or maybe not.

I think it is funny when people complain about craftsmen missing deadlines and when one tells the truth about a backlog and turns down orders that can't be completed in a timely manner people complain. Can't win.

Maybe you weren't complaining....just the way I read it.

Jack. I meant nothing bad in my post. I had gone to valley forge with the hope of ordering a case finally. I have been puting off getting a new one for a while. I should have ordered one a long time ago when you were not so buisy. If you are taking names again please add me to your list. Thanks Chris.

I didn't take it as being bad at all....I just wanted to explain why I wasn't taking orders.....in fact, I think Dave called just before we left for the Derby where we were not accepting new orders.

The list we made in Vegas has been satisfied so no need to add your name. When your ready just place the order by phone or email and currently turn around is 30 days or less.

If Jack says they are quality and on par with his, than that is good enough and the case should be nothing short of a bargain. Shawn, your case sounds like it will be an eyeful.
