Well they all go on a ferrule & strike the cueball. Two are brown & one is black. One of the brown ones is much cheaper than the other two. Sorry, I couldn't resist. Your question is somewhat vague...as is my answer. They all come in various hardness & its testing apples vs. oranges. What I like/love....another will maybe not so much. Use the search function here & in the main and you'll have lots of reading. For best results...do as I and most others who want to really know....buy several of each and spend some time testing them and build your own knowledge. Or listen to some on a forum who may or may not even have tried them all. Hands on testing is the only way to judge.
I have played with each of these tips in the med. to super soft range, they all are good tips, the kamui tips are softer in my opinion. They all hold chalk well and don't mushroom much. The kamui blacks are more resistant to humidity due to the tanning process. I am now playing w/ SS kamui black and am very happy w/ this tip. But as most said tips are a personal preference, and trying different tips is the way to find your preferred tip.
I am a authorized dealer for kamui.
