Nice job Keith!

JAM- I could be mistaken, but the way I read one of your post on another board led me to believe that Keith won this event last year also. Is my interpretation correct or am I having another blonde moment???

Yes Keith did win this event last year. he has only lost 1 set in the 2 years that he has played in this event, and that was in the 1st set of the finals today. But he came back and won the 2nd set of this true double elimination tournament. last year he beat Frankie hernandez and this year he beat Danny Hewitt who is from Canada and plays very well. It was a very strong field of 49 players that included Ryan McCreesh, Tony Ruberto, Frankie Hernandez, Mike Zuglan, Karen Corr, Julie Kelly, and i host of others that i can't remember right now. Mike Webb from Webb custom cues was there as usual and did a great job working on everybodies cues. Congratulations should also go out to the Rocco Spinelli family for putting on a great show of hospitality for all the fans and players alike. it is great going to a pool room and being treated great like they treat you and a special thanks to Mike Zuglan for bringing the Joss tour to albany....see you all next year...............mike

What a Wonderful Weekend!

Just got back home from Golden Cue Billiards in Albany, New York, about a 6-hour drive, and I'm wired on coffee. I couldn't wait, though, to check out a few pictures I took when I arrived home.

I'll post some more pictures and a recap later today. It was a tough field, and the finals match was a tension-filled battle to the finish with Canadian Champion Danny Hewitt.

Here's a picture of Rocco Spinelli, the host of this $3,000-added Joss tournament, and a very, very happy Keith McCready, the WINNER! :)
