Keith Would have Crushed Them

I am sickened by this thread and by some of the comments from the peanut gallery about Keith McCready. Yes, since I care about the man with my heart, it hurts me deeply to read the ridicule.

Corvette goes off and starts a poll thread about who's the best player, Chris Bartrum or Keith McCready, when Keith is over 50 years old today. The poll thread was initiated only as a vehicle to demean Keith's good name.

I hope y'all have yourselves a nice day. I've wasted several hours defending a man I care deeply about when I could have been making money. My mistake.

lol, I started the poll and specifically put TODAY, not 20 years ago, or in their prime. It was started because I would love for something to light a spark in both players and have a match made. You are the ONLY ONE that thinks the thread was made with any other motive. Sad, really.

I don't believe you.

It is pretty well known that Keith ain't hit a ball since September 2006.

Why do you think so many folks want to challenge him today? Gee, that's a given. Why not play a man who hasn't hit a ball in two years? Yeah, that's the ticket. Then I can show the world how great a player I am, playing a man in his fifties who ain't hit a ball in two years.

What's sad is your constant banter when it comes to hurting other people's feelings. You seem to thrive on it. Hey, if that's how you get your rocks off, then more power to you.

Who's feelings do I hurt? I guess the poll would have hurt Chris' feelings if everyone voted for Keith? Jeez.

I also thought you said in other threads that Keith hits balls on your table at home. Either way, I, like other people, would like to see him play again. I'll even take it step further and sweeten the pot if he gets in an action match.

Save your sweet pot. Keith doesn't need anything from you to get in action.

you told me in this thread that your horse would play me even.
i did not ask you for action .
but i said i will play.

Keith is so good......

1) He gives God the 1 out with the breaks.
2) He gives God the rails as pockets.
3) God asks Keith what he should do next.
4) He walks on water and the soles of his feet don't get wet.
5) He says, "I want to play pool..." and all the balls on all the tables in world jump into the pockets.
6) All the other players in the world are n00bish hack bangers in comparison.
7) He is cool as a cucumber playing for all the money held in reserve by all governments.
8) Can kill a man 1,000,000 ways with a sticky note.
9) Can't be beat by anyone born of woman.
10) He MADE God in his own image.

Why would you turn down free money? :scratchhead:

Because there are some things in life that are MUCH MORE IMPORTANT than money. That's why.

I have never disputed that, but why would you continually turn down free offers and a chance to make thousands and thousands? Especially in these tough economic times.

Jennie - Your love for "your man" seems to make you over-sensitive in these types of threads... just an observation from someone who doesn't have a dog in this fight.

Perhaps it's better that you don't read these... seriously.

And pls don't intrepret that to think that I am suggesting that you shouldn't post here... as a matter of fact, quite the contrary... I enjoy reading your posts... just not on these types of threads where someone is talking down your man... because you simply can't help yourself but to defend his honor... which is highly admirable... but leads to a lot of bickering, which is unbecoming of you.

cd.

JAM after reading this whole thing i wasnt the little bit surprised to find out you're a woman.

jay helfert you make very nice easy reading and informitive posts. Thank You.

Keith was a monster and as with most sports age/drugs/booze all take a toll on the human body and the ability to perform at 100%.

It was after two sets. After Liljon lost BOTH SETS, they came to me for a third, to which I declined.

Check the facts on Google Groups archive search of RSB......

Quote INDYGIRL70: "- Keith and Lil John vs Chris Bartram 9 ball Keith/Lil John got the 8 ball
playing 10 ahead for 2 dimes and lost......Lil John wanted to play Chris after
this set and he wanted to put up his car but he didnt have the title with
him..... "

Thanks for the thoughtful post. I appreciate your words of wisdom! :)

Actually, I am beginning to think pool players and their loved ones have no business posting on this forum. It seems to be a playground for an assorted few who enjoy hurting and/or causing anger.

My day has been wasted today, and right now, to tell you the truth, I am literally sick to my stomach. I guess it's time to stick a fork in me! :p
