Well he did state in another thread that he was working on the cues & informing the customers about their cues, he posted pics of several in the cue gallery, and a couple did say they received PMs.

I guess he's just going down the list.

Very well said. Rep to you. A simple email to his customers would have stopped all the madness but yet he cant even do that. Must be a very busy man:rolleyes:

Kevin hasn't logged on since April 29. He has definitely logged on since I last sent him a PM, but I have not heard anything. I called what I believe to be his cell phone, left a polite message, got no return call.

Let this be a clear message to any future KV customers: he does not give a shit about you. If you are unhappy, he does not give a shit. If you want to reach him, he does not give a shit. If issues arise that complicate your guys' deal, he does not give a shit. He will not work with you, will not compromise one inch, will not so much as hear a thing you have to say. Just shut your mouth and take whatever he gives you, whenever he gives it to you. If you do anything else you are just a petulant crybaby of a customer and you should be ashamed of yourself.

If that's the type of person you want to do business with, by all means go right ahead.

He clearly has no intention of issuing refunds, or dealing with us whiners. He'll just slowly crank out a few cues and send them off and hope that shuts everyone up, so he can then sweep this whole episode under the rug and not change a thing.

The sad thing is, it might work. With the Varney cult so loud and proud in every thread, in 6 months any new members will read 100 good things about the man for every bad thing and probably be sucked right in.

Where did my thread go? This is the only way I have to contact him. His pm box has been full for a long time. Why is it not here for everyone to see? I was simply asking a fellow az'er a question. I never insulted him. Just a simple question as to where my cue is. If you can't have a simple discussion of opinions and facts on this site why is the site here at all? Afterall, 99% of his buisness is generated from this site.

I've watched this latest Varney episode twist and turn itself into a nightmare...and that makes me happy that I did NOT wind up getting that "high end" 4-pointer cue he made awhile back.

The short version - He posted up a 4 pointer for $1k. People gave him a TON crap about it. He claims that he's got mouths to feed and bills to pay. I offer to pay the full amount he was asking for...and he turns me down (he didn't want the cue to be a "closet queen"..he wanted a "real player" to have it). Seems to me that a guy that has "mouths to feed" and a cue to sell would take a full price offer. He made it sound as though he was standing on principle...whatever that was supposed to mean.

That was around a year ago...and one of the first issues that arose with him here on the boards (to the general populace, anyway). The life threatening was another one. Since then, he's created more bad than good...and comes across as a guy who really does not give a flip about his customers...but is more than happy to take their money up front.

I feel for all those folks out there who are due a cue...and have no clue. I wish ya'll the best of luck...and hope Varney pulls his head out and starts treating people like people, instead of a breathing ATM machine.

Im surprised you didn't see through the BS on that deal.
When XXXXX bought the cue and gave/donated it to XXXXX it was said that it would be displayed or raffled (?) at an upcoming event.
(Names Xed out to protect the generous).

Varney caught on to that pretty quick and chose not to sell it you. He got his cash and some exposure too. Didn't have a thing to do with "principle"!!!
