Based on my experience I would recommend him without hesitation- I hope the people waiting on their cues can get everything sorted out.

Based on the 14 pages of this thread, and the other thread that was deleted, you'd be a fool to recommend him to anyone. Do you really wanna put your reputation on the line for a guy who has been called out by many as having (quite literally) taken the money and ran???

Well, I haven't gone anywhere. I do have a family outside of this forum that requires attention. As far as posting in the thread, I have said what I needed to say, as politely and professionally as I could. I generally don't care to get into the pi$$ing contests that occur in these type of threads. Being argumentative without thought (ranting) accomplishes nothing on either side.

(There has been a lot of contact info posted already. I have Kevin's home number that I will not give to anyone without his consent. So I guess I am a bad guy to some for keeping it confidential.)

I wouldn't want to be in the position you find yourself in here. The right thing to do regarding Kevin is protect his privacy but what's the right thing to do regarding fellow az members?

Since you do hold the key to possible resolution of their problem(s) and can't provide that key, that does make you part of the problem.

Maybe you need to let Kevin know how his actions are reflecting on you and how you cannot be held to withholding his information if he continues to refuse to do the right thing.

Give him a time limit to come forward and make things right or let him know that you will have to give out his phone number to those who have placed orders and prepaid for cues.

You are in a tough spot and only you can decide what is the right thing for you to do but it seems to me that you cannot stand by and watch while others are taken advantage of and not do something to be of assistance to them .

I can appreciate your post Jim and can surely see the point of view. Just as I appreciate my fellow AZ members' concerns about contacting Kevin.

Kevin has since posted. I believe I did do and continue to do the right thing. I believe this because I was/am a firm believer in a couple of things:

1. That Kevin would soon post on the board and also make contact with his customers.
2. Contrary to popular belief, that there really is no deceit / mal-intent on Kevin's part to "take the money and run". Or my part for that matter of not betraying the confidence.

If, and that's a HUGE "if," I thought for one second there was any mal-intent I would likely be inclined to think differently on the subject. However, I know this is not the case at all, but for me to post anything otherwise usually falls on deaf ears as many have formed an opinion long ago. As far as "being part of the problem," well I suppose I would be IF there was any mal-intent.

As far as "standing by and watching others being taken advantage of" I didn't do that, nor would I. The only thing I am guilty of, is not providing a home phone number so this thread could spill over into his home. I believe I did/am doing the right thing. If Kevin wanted it published, he would do so or he could have told me he didn't mind and I would have done so.

If doing what I did makes me a bad guy, then I guess I am willing to live with it.

I would like to thank everyone that corresponded with me via either the thread or pm's for the civility and professionalism that I hope I conveyed to everyone in return. (Except one person in pm that is)

Its good to know I'm completely clueless, but it took a thread that was 14+ pages long for you to even reply to save your neck but I'm the bad guy? What a f'ing joke. And BTW, you might want to respond to your PAYING customers instead of attacking me. Its not my fault you promised cues at dates (that you cant even provide on) to customers that have already paid in full. Maybe you should be working right now on their cues instead of attacking people in here?

If they want to have a thread discussing a course of action to take- then so be it- but most of you didn't need to take stab at others. The anonymous internet shields a lot of you, because had you been talking in person, you wouldn't have said near the comments you would have, specifically the jabs at fellow AZ'rs. I mean who cares that he got himself in this situation by issuing promises he knew he could never honor? (A fact he continually ignores, after initial attempts to deny until it was too obvious as people have saved PMs and too many people came forward for him to cast people as delusionary wierdos.) Who cares that he's compounded that problem by issuing even more promises and estimates that haven't even been close to reality? How about that guy who was told his cue would ship that day, and it's been two months or more? Or the threats he's made in the past?

Craig I for one totally believe that you should not be lumped in with Kevin's other supporters. You are a stand-up guy, who totally believes that what you are doing is right. You attempts throughout these threads to pass information have not been insightful, antagonizing, or disrespectful. I may be the only one, however, I respect your intentions in these threads.
