Was wondering what kicking / banking books/dvd you like the best. Thanks for any info:smile:

jimmy reid dvds, banking with the beard, Pool Iq 1 , monk 202, grady's only kicks.

All have great infos.:)

"Only Kicks" -Grady- is a no nonsense video that gets the job done.

"Almost all I know" -Jimmy Reid- If you want a more preceise group of systems, this would definately be the way to go.

these are the ones I would recommend, but everything listed thusfar I have seen and are all great tools, though I haven't watched DR Daves video, they have received great reviews and his knowledge is regarded highly among the community.

I haven't seen many of them but I very much liked "Only Kicks". Grady is like trying to stuff your head with as many kicking systems as he humanly can in a limited time frame. I think there were over 100 common kicks. Don't be scared though, it's not like each one is an entire system. They're just common kick situations.

Is that the tape where he shows a two rail track from the side to the corner and the paralleling options/limits? Grady's stuff is good-and bring your dictionary.

indeed it is the same video. yes, he goes through the material quite quickly, and in less detail than he does in "the finer points of banking and safety play" while at the same time including other information such as "spot on the wall" and others.

Some of the best information I ever got on Banking came from a Bert Kinister DVD. This info sent me down a brand new journey.....SPF=randyg

Banking and Kicking DVD's

I've viewed all of the above DVD's and books. Most of them are good. But they don't show how to adjust for off tracks. I have studied under Charlie Hillbilly Bryant. He has hundreds of kicking and banking systems. The best thing about them is not only they cover common kicking and banking, he also has different systems for adjustments with speeds and off tracks. Very simple to understand and excute with some practice. His systems is game situation reality.

Have you seen VEPS-IV? We cover many systems along with how to make adjustments with all of them.

Thank You :-)

I just want to say thanks for all of your posts . Now its time to spend some money :-) A lot of info out there.

You have to check out Little Joe Villapondo's only kicks dvd. Its got a great 2 and 3 rail instructional. Gradys dvd is also great, in fact nearly all of Gradys dvds are quite good. Not only does he have a wealth of information but he has some funny deadpan one liners in his tapes. I just watched his 14.1 instructional last night and was cracking up when he does this 14.1 break shot, gets stuck behind the stack and says oh "thats ok because I am privileged to know this shot" and gets down and quickly fires in the one rail bank into the corner, goes three rails with whitey and gets perfect.

The Beards dvds for banking instructional get my vote. Bugs Ruckers dvd to just watch that guy play. I think there might be some video of Eddie Taylor doing a bank instructional as well but I havent seen it.
