Last Night In St Louis - Mosconi Cup Team USA

Man, what's wrong with you guys? Teacherman took the time to share some great photos, but instead of enjoying them, appreciating that he took the time, folks want to debate.

Why not appreciate the Mosconi Cup for all its worth? Hey, there's a novel idea! It sure is a lot more fun than nit-picking and arguing.

If you posted a bet in the action room you won't have a problem.. I got action within minutes betting them even also within minutes betting them getting 3/2 on the money.

Would you appreciate people on this forum calling you a "moron" and "broke" and saying you should be "purged" from the fan base of the sport?

People have personally attacked you in the past on this forum Jam, from memory you do not like it very much. You tend to take it personally, it hurts you, you tend to report the abuse as you well should, at times you have left the forum because of abuse from other forum members.

Why do you think it is OK for Teacherman to call fellow forum members "broke" and "morons" and claim the entire pool fan base is "broke" and should be "purged"?

Why are you of all people defending personal attacks on forum members by another member in this instance?
 
What a shocker that Teacherman has been banned from the forum before... though I wonder if he truly believes it's because he's a "truth teller" rather than an argumentative insult machine.

Whatever Jam. You are not the "only" person who gets to be offended when they are personally attacked on the forum, and I find it hugely hypocritical that you of all people would come to the defense of someone who is personally attacking another forum member. That is the honest truth.

The next time someone personally attacks you on this forum and you are hurt by it hopefully someone does not come onto that thread and attack "you" for it, like you are doing here.

<edit> And for what it is worth, I did not post mention of the discussion me and Teacherman were having on the Live Stream thread "AT ALL" when I posted on this thread. I came on here to let JB know that there was action to be had on the Mosconi Cup in the Action Room as it is a popular thing to bet on at present.

I was then the topic of TWO posts from Teachman who decided to attack me on "this" thread and bring the discussion that I was more than happy to leave on the Live Stream section of the forum over to the Main Forum.

By all means Jam, read back into this thread. I did not say a PEEP about Teacherman or this event on this event until he decided to attack me directly on two consecutive posts.

Those are some way cool pics, though IMO the photo poster seems to have a little attitude problem, but maybe that's just me

Mark's step son Derek was a great MC last night. You can tell he knows his craft. During the evening they had a door prize to give away and chose two contestants with random questions. It was between Justin's sister and a local pool supporter named Jim.

Jim's questions were - how many US Opens has SVB won, # of balls in Mosconi high run and who were the two women to play on first Mosconi Cup team

Justin sisters questions were - in the game of 9 ball, what ball do you make to win the game? John 'mr 400' Schmidt has run at least how many balls in straight pool? And as she gets ready to watch her brother play in the Mosconi Cuo next week, what city will the event be in?

Jim lost....but still got a copy of Mark's book.
