Thanks!Very nice case![]()
Thanks! I agree. Here's some case trivia... On the JEF Q cases Jay Flowers considered the riveted side the front of the case, meant to be carried in the right hand facing out. That way the name or whatever else was decorating it would be what showed off. The pockets were strictly utilitarian, and were carried facing in so they weren't the prominent feature of the case. Clean and sleek just looks better IMO.I didn't mean to not post something lol.
I really do like your case a lot, I wasn't just saying that.
But I did want to point out the stuff you case makers are able to do with case lids.
I really like my cases to be clean outside and not overloaded with pockets.
Thank you!Great looking case Chuck, I love the color of the leather.
John, that is a huge compliment, thank you! And thank you for being free with information and pointers when asked too!Nice clean old school goodness, great protection and true custom work. I wish you had been around 22 years ago so I wouldn't have had to start making cases![]()
Another nice case, Chuck. This one has great color.
I love mine.

Chuck,
You make a nice looking case, but it's the me also look (Flowers, Justice, Swift etc.)
My comment wasn't intended as an insult (please don't take it as one), but it was me thinking out load.
This may seem weird, but the 1st thing that I notice is your fit and finish, and how nice it looks.. I really like how you finished off the interior of the lid, the outside top cap of the lid, and the very bottom of the case. I appreciate your attention to detail, and how clean your work is..

John Barton has been doing stuff in the lid for a long time. Mine is nice simple solution for storage. It works out well for those who don't like pockets.
Thanks guys, it means a lot to me!

You will like this one. The owner wanted a place to keep his meds but not an obvious one.

That's a pretty nifty lid John. Does the false padding Velcro in or something?
Chuck
It is held in by 8 magnets, four on each side. When it is in it looks permanent.
Thanks! Yes it's 3x5. I prefer this configuration over the round 3x6.
Thank you sir! Yes, I have 2-3 hours in the guts alone... Lol
Thanks! I call it dirty tan....
Thank you!
Thanks, almost done with a couple of other orders, then I'm working on a fully tooled.
Pm sent
Thanks!
The layout of the pipes dictate the shape. I would have to build a rectangular form that my 2x4 interior would fit in. Doable maybe... Would have to play with it
