My dad used to have one of those, it was next to his left handed hammer, never could find em though.

I wish they would have given the exact weight instead of saying "custom weight." I will just have to call them. I will let you know how the cue works out if I end up buying it. Thanks for the link! :D :eek:

This might be just what I'm looking for because my right handed one doesn't work very well. What's that phone number again?

This strikes me as funny because many times when an opponent of mine is having a bad night of shooting, I often comment (rather smart-a$$edly at that) that they must have pulled a left-handed cue out of the rack. :D :D

I bet that is why I am having trouble learning this sport...........maybe I accidentally bought a left handed cue!

I should have asked before I bought it!
 
I got two

I have two cues. When I use right hand english I use the left handed cue. Then when I use left hand english I pull out the right handed cue.
If I need middle english I don't have to change. It's easy. :eek: :eek:
 
I once finished a custom cue for a local player and delivered it and noticed he was palying left handed. I asked him if he always played left handed. He said yes. I just shook my head and he asked what was the matter and I told him that I had built him a right handed cue.

I shoot pool left-handed even though I'm right-handed. For the longest time I thought I was shooting right-handed, since I am naturally right-handed. So I was using a right-handed cue, even though I was actually shooting left-handed.

Then one day a guy tells me I'm shooting left-handed, and I didn't believe him because I have no coordination in my left hand. Finally I switched to a left-handed cue and realized immediately that he was right. My draw and follow improved immensely. Sounds like a good deal to me, since very few cuemakers make a good left-handed cue.

PS: If you throw a left-handed cue across the room with your right hand it will probably get dinged, so that's probably what happened. He's probably a righty who was using a lefty and didn't knowy.
 
I thought the thread was hilarious until about 5 minutes ago when I jokingly asked my 15 year old son to run down to the convenience store to grab me a dozen left handed pencils......................and he actually left the house :eek:
Now I'm a little worried.

The ambi-dextrous thing is weird.

My scratch league golf partner plays golf right handed and putts left handed.

Ronnie O'sullivan effortlessly rolling in century breaks left or right handed is disconcerting enough but my own father had a very strange skill. A total alcoholic and complete waste of space, but whether drunk or sober could take a pen in each hand and write his name on a piece of paper in the most beautiful copper plate handwriting upside down with each hand at the same time. When you turned the paper back up the right way both names appeared identical and perfectly formed. Unfortunately that skill often simply led to him winning more drinks:)

wasn't sigel a natural right hander who just always played with his left? presumably then he must have found opposite handedshooting quite easier.well easier than most.

also don't they say that your stroke with your opposite hand is more 'textbook' once you develop it.makes sense to me, as you already know how a textbook stroke should look like it and you just mimic it robotically.
