In the next few weeks i am gonna be giving Tim Scruggs a call to see if he will come out of Semi-retirement and build me a cue.

What i am looking for from all of you is some ideas on just how good his work really is with posting up some pictures of your scruggs.

if at all possible, can you list the materials and there location. since i dont know alot about different materials.

I Have some basic ideas of some of the materials i would like in it such as :

Ebony
Turquise
Malichite
Stainless Steel Joint


So please post up yours so i can possibly add some ingredients to my TS Cue, or maybe just to give me some ideas of layout.

I didn't know that Tim had retired. Anyway my TS has non of the materials your looking to use, lol, but I'll post pics anyway. This cue is my everyday player.

I did not know he retired either, but I do know he suffered a heart problem a few years back. :(

In my area, Scruggs are quite popular. I haven't paid a visit to his shop in years, but it used to a fun trip to take.

Anybody remember the Scruggs pool tour?

I hope he's doing well! :smile:

Timi is not retired

He is not semi retired. Good luck getting him on the phone however. This time of year he is checking on his trees! I hear he has his own forest!:D



I have owned so many. This is a starter. Monster TS and a monster MC. Best friends, partners, and a great Duo that have been building cues together for decades!
And Peter when I called about your cue it was already gonners. Great pick up!

well thats what someone selling cues told me at the expo this year..... I guess he was just looking to make a sale.

He said that Mike Cochran was making cues for him !
