Let's See Your Schon! Pictures Please.

Since this thread has returned to the front page. Here's the one I found while on a treasure hunt about 3 weeks ago. I'm still trying to find information on it. I think it's an SP 20 but I've yet to find any information AT ALL on that model on the internet.

I'd say this is a SL-20.Very nice cue!

SL-20 huh?

I'll search in that direction and see if I turn anything up. BTW... I did contact Evan Clark but he really couldn't help me over the phone but assured me that he would answer my email as soon as he got to it. (sometime in 2012 I think. :) )

My Old Schon

Cool thread. A lot of great looking Schons out there!.

I humbly offer my simple six over/six under purchased new in the early 90's. Cocobolo points with Ebony on stained BEM. Shaft closest to cue is original with Schon engraved in the collar. The Schon IV shaft was acquired when this cue was refinished by Evan’s shop in the early 2000’s. Both have ivory ferrules. The stained BEM is lighter since the refinish, as it was darker originally. No fancy inlays but a good solid player over the years. Has serviced me well but was retired 4-5 years ago. Now playing with an early 90’s Joss SP.

This was the third cue I ever purchased, replacing a custom-ordered Meucci Airplane (or propeller) cue. Johnny Archer had just hit the scene, was the new hot player, and at that time was playing with a Schon. Purchased it for a few hundred from a friend who was a dealer at the time. I believe he purchased it through Cue-Stix. Have never been able to nail down a model number, but I never thought it really mattered.

My Schon Sl-8.

Been through a lot with this one. From my first 9ball table run to my first tournament win to my 14.1 high run. Still hits great.

Here's my growing collection.
Special thanks to Bill Loucks - Hersheybarbilli
Bill just sold me the the barbell cue on the end.
The transaction was silky smooth and I would buy from him again.

Very nice collection. You have some very nice cues.

Schon Ltd with Schon IV Shaft

Would like to know the stock number and when it was made? Also I would like to get the original bumper to put back on. The cue is a player. One of the finest I have owned. I also have an old growth shaft made to match by Paul Dayton. Stiff as a Predator shaft. Would sell the works for the right price. Recently replaced it as my player cue.

Got both of these long before Bob left. The ebony is no-wrap. They both hit like you would expect from an old Schon with ivory ferrules.

I hope you're enjoying it Bud.

That cue is a SP-10eb

I've had one just like it...

Anyone have a pic of the model SLE3???

I had one stolen about oh.....8 to 10 years ago...

I will know it when I see it...but I don't have a pic....That is one cue I would love to have back...even though at this point I know it will never happen.

There were only 12 made of that model, and they were made for a specific distributer.

I have not ever seen another one like it.

I always wonder what happened to that cue....my guess is that whoever stole it beat the hell out of it and then used it for fire wood.

my new old Schon R-12

I love this cue.
Would not give it up for nothing.
Jeff
Was @ expo, had a blast.
