Very nice tip tool indeed. They take a little getting used to and I recommend watching the video while you shape your tip the first time. After that you'll see how amazing the thing works.
 
funny,..I miscued the other night just like the guy on the video and my tip ended up with the same exact mark!!! I thought it was just me!!!! I guess I need one too.........in brown please

Tip tool

Has anyone tried using this tip tool on a non-kamui tip? I have not not used these tips before, and used another brand. I assume that the effect to the tip should be the same if someone follows the correct manner in using the tool. let me know your experiences.

They work good on all brands of tips. This is a very handy tool to have in your bag.
