i see there are many types of woolite, even some with oxiclean and also in spray form, any recommendations on which type of woolite?Mix up some Woolite with warm water in a bowl. Dampen a towel or clean rag and pat that up and down the wrap. You do not want to soak the linen or it might stretch and sag. Let the linen dry. You may have to clean it again to get all the dirt out. Once clean and dry, rub it with wax paper to restore some shine and smooth out any fuzz.
I tried using a Magic Eraser on the wrap of a cue I didn't care too much about and it ruined it.someone local also suggested magic eraser

i think after using you would need to spin it on a lathe with linen press or something that would work like one , like 2 pieces of wood, maybe wax over the wrap area and burnishingHa, the wrap. It basically roughed it up to the point where it feels terrible to hold.
