They have a refrigerator with soda and bottles of beer and wine. Also have Budweiser on tap.
Thank you. I knew I wasn't going crazy yet. Johnnyt

Thats the finest looking room I have ever seen. Grady is sure to fill it with great players.

Is it safe to say this is the best room in the country?

You must have misspelled the word "newest" room in the country...LOL Not knocking Grady's room, as I've known Grady for well over 25 years, I use to play in his room in Colorado Springs, this is a very nice room. There are many unbelievable rooms around the country, including the $7,000,000.00 room up in Elgin, IL that I delivered 14 Diamonds to. Pro-Thyme Billiards in Roland Park, IL is off the scale as well.

Nice Room ... Grady

but I have to admit I am spoiled and like more of an action feel to the room.
Nostalgic Pool Pictures or Posters would fit nicely in Grady's room, and I like my drink and food available when I play. (Diet Dr. Pepper, don't drink alcohol anymore). And I like a jukebox with Classic Rock or older Pop songs on it, but not so loud you can't think, just in the background.

And I do like the .25 machines by the door with cashews, M&M peanuts, etc..

Getting a room open is one thing, getting it just the way you want it is another. I am sure Grady has more plans in the works for it.

And there is just nothing like a Bar Box Challenge Table with a Pit feel to it with seating around it.

Wow, I really need to get out of florida more often, I'd love to visit!!
I think I would love to find a place in S.C. now...

Looks like a nice place to play...

But I think it needs a little more character, which I am sure will come in time. One good thing is it does have is a great character for an owner in Grady, whom I am sure will keep it lively and action packed:D :D

looks brilliant. just needs a bit of character building as thecoats above me says which will come over time. perhaps a bit more colour and a small bar area to chillax between playing. and nothin wrong with some music going at certain times, maybe during the day or on certain days whatever. not blasting though obviously.

but my god hasnt he got the basics right! wish i could play there

oh and not sure i like the idea of four inch pockets though lol, you start getting to that level and you may as well play snooker i imagine! and there's a danger the style of teh game changes - you may end up slow rolling a lot of balls. but to be fair, this is from a man who has never tried them, so my judgement is reserved.

I agree the 4 inch pockets is a bit small and somewhat unnatural, I think 4.25 is more realisitic for good action. I have played on some tables with very small pockets like 4" and if it gets very humid and the cloth is a bit on the worn side it becomes darn near impossible to make any shot with draw that touches any of the pocket and can be very detrimental to anyone's confidence. On the flip side of that I would like to see Shane and Corey play a match on one of Grady's tough tables.

Over all nice room Grady, congratulations!!! Also, I have been to Billy's room in Dallas and highly recommend stopping by for anyone that is in Dallas.

Take Care

MJ,

That looked like Monroe Jones in one of the pics. He is a threat to pull an upset at any time.

Good to see Dallas made the trip over. I don't think he has been playing much but I hope he does well in the tourney.
