Is that before or after Neils was hit with a glass of beer thrown from the audience? (if that actually occurred)
Is this the same guy that Shane went over and played, and put on a clinic?

I didn't have any sound on my stream from the parts I watched, and the comments were mostly in Greek.
Can't say I've ever heard of audiences interference during a big money match like that?
Quite a finish for Nikos. I started watching with Nikos behind 16-21. He then proceeded to beat Niels 19-5 the rest of the way for a 35-26 victory.

First of all, thank you for your kind words about the stream. We (my buddy and I that have antispin productions) try to do our best.
About the audio:
Yeah, no audio sadly. I've streamed some tournaments with the mic on and YouTube didn't like it. Got a copyright violation. I am looking into if there is any posibility to stream the matches with audio and delete the audio on the uploaded video... I just couldn't afford to take chances when steaming a match like this. It would be very upsetting to wake up tomorrow and see the video deleted due to copyright claims...
About the glass:
There was an accident in the audience. A guy wanted to get up off of his table to go to the bathroom, he accidentally bumped the table in front of him and a glass fell on the floor and broke. He apologized immediately to both players, and especially to Feijen as he was closer an a piece hit him. It did not do any damage, he wasn't injured or something. Feijen didn't seem bothered about this, he knew it was accidental. I know the guy, there is no way he did it intentionally and it was obvious to all.
Nikos is a monster player. In the recent years he hasn't traveled all that match, and has said that he won't travel at all in the next year or so.
Last night they (Nikos as well as Niels) were playing in a tournament here in Athens and they matched up in the semis (video also in antispin channel). Neils played just perfectly. If I'm not mistaken, every time he broke he run the rack, no dry breaks and no illegal breaks, only run outs. He won the set 11-5. It takes a very special player to play with Niels, get beaten heavily and still be confident enough to play him for 2k on the next day.
Again, in their challenge match Nikos was not breaking well. So he had to go into safeties battles with Niels and pot his way out of them. He potted some amazing balls. Already in the second rack, he banked the 8 from one short rail to the other corner pocket and right after that he banked the 9 from the short rail to the other corner pocket also. He had to make some solid shots to get racks on the board, and he did.

This is correct. He was on top of the audience to keep them in line.
When Nikos got a fluke snooker and some people clapped he turned to the audience and said that they shouldn't clap for flukes, even if he is the one benefiting from them.
As far as I know, the two of them are friends (Nikos and Niels that is). No point in making him uncomfortable, he does respect him and wanted to have a nice game.
I was in the pool hall some time before the match to set everything up, and overheard a conversation of Nikos with a club regular, and the other guy asked Nikos if he had second thoughts about the challenge match after the loss last night. Nikos said something on the lines of "no, yesterday was yesterday, today is a new day and we're playing on a different table (the one they played yesterday had much bigger pockets than this one). I know I can play well here, if he play as well as he did yesterday on this table, there is no point in whining, you have to tip your hat off to him."

Yeah, same guy. This is the same guy that Shane was supposed to routinely win in 2012 mosconi cup and lift America's spirit in a crucial time in the tournament, but Shane ended up losing and didn't know what hit him.... Aaaand just to be sure he beat SVB again in the 2014 mosconi. Basically if you search for "svb loosing in the mosconi cup" youll bound to come across some videos of this guy.
Wow Nikos beat SVB in a race to 6 alternate break twice, no way. Shane pounded him in his own room by like 20 games for the cheese. You are comparing apples to oranges buddy. Nikos can't hold SVB's jock for the cash!

I actually have the upmost respect for SVB. I admire his dedication, his practice and of course his winnings. I've never met him but he seems like a good person as well. I definitely think that he is a legend of the game, his game is on another level. I just replied in that manner because that comment seemed somewhat disrespectful to me. Like, really? This is the only time you've heard of him? He just beat another legend, Niels Feijen, and the first thing you mention is that you remember him only when SVB beat him badly? I know that you live on the other side of the globe and you can't just walk into his pool hall and see him or even play with him, but have some respect for the guy...

Alien, do you know if Nikos ever considered the sport of Olympic weightlifting? Every time I see him on a stream I think he has the perfect build for that. And, Greece has a strong Olympic presence in that sport.

I think a couple of years ago, Shane went over to Greece for a tournament and an action match. It was vs Alex Kazakis I believe? Not Nick for sure. Shane lost to Alex in the action match and Alex won the tournament also.
The other time Shane played Nick race to 50 I think. Shane won by about 15+ racks.
