Looking to buy a soft case

I have a few different cues. I usually only carry a break cue a sneaky pete and two or three shafts. I would like to start carrying a cue ball along with all of my tip stuff chalk etc. I do not want to get super weighed down so are there any good soft cases that could be suggested. I am considering a Lucasi LC-3 4 Butt/ 8 Shaft Black Leather Pool Cue Case. Does any one have one of these. Up to now I carry a 20 yr old Its Gearge 2x4 or a justis pro lite 3x6 the justis is pretty nice so it stays home alot. I would like a case that would have a pocket for Moleskin notebook as well. I would like to aslo carry some sort of ear buds for my Ipod in a seperate pocket from tip tools.

I think I want to try a soft case what do you think of the Lucasi?

Just a side note but you can fit more cues than designed into a soft case. Even if it only has divided compartments for 1 butt and 1 shaft, you can fit much more, as long as you don't mind the wood from the different butts/shafts rubbing against each other.

Thanks Jim. Thats what I was hoping for I will be buying one of these I think, would like to see prior to buying but might just order off of Pool Dawg here on AZ.

This is the case I have. Mine is the brown one. I absolutely love this case. It will hold more than advertised. The multiple pouches are very useful.

I'll tell you, as far as not offering much protection for your stick goes, I've never had an airplane fall on it, or a 40 foot trailer run it over. Shoot, I can't even remember getting it run over by a bicycle.

What the heck are we worried about protecting this from?

The case is a steal at it's selling price. I love it. If there is one drawback, and I don't really see it as one, you have to lay it down to open it as opposed to leaning it against a wall and popping the top open. Besides that, it's way more functional than a hard case IMO.

edit ... hmm, mine is an LC-5 must be the color cause it still holds the same it seems. Although, the brown one's pouches seem longer and more versatile. I found it in a search here ...

I bought a J&J like THIS from the same seller. I really like it. It's not really big and bulky and I have plently of room for Chalk, Tip tools, even have two Q balls in the lower pouch.
