For what it is worth, I think that the guys at the action report, Justin and Chad should win the award hands down. No one stirred more action or excitement than these guys and I thank them for their efforts. As the derby comes to a close :( I do not know what I will do with my down time. I guess now I will sleep at night. :confused: Thanks again guys.
 
I'm liking Fatboy for the award. To show up with that much money and just say "flip for it" ... pretty hard to top that in the "gamble" department. And he shut The Tooth up. He deserves honorary mention for that alone. ;)
 
I don't know who will win the award maybe SVB but I sure wish Louie Roberts was around to enjoy this tournament with all the action. He would win the Louie Roberts award. For those of you who have never seen Louie play you missed something special he made the game exciting and had a style you had to love "pure heart." Philw
 
My vote, if I had one would go to TAR...

Cliff and Shane have both been playing non stop,so the award could go to either of them

I agree 100%, but I woud flip them for it ;)
 
I agree with TAR getting it! However I think the award was intended for players and with players it's people like Keith McCready, Scooter, Durbin, TJ, Cliff and Shane who are always in ACTION.

I think Justin and Chad should get the special version of it with free rooms for life!!!!!!

I was there for most of the event and think Shane should be a lock. He was in non-stop action and still played in the 3 events. I am not sure when he ever slept.

I totally agree!!!!! What he did is the stuff legends are made from. Give it a few years, the 100 G's will be a Million!!!!!!! Got love it, the legend of Bucktooth, hey I got in stead of playing off the rail, the old dude has been a perpetrator all the time, BECAUSE HE HAS NO BALLS:eek: :eek: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So from here on out I think he should be called Doetooth, at least that name fits!!!!!:D

Shane as a player by far has had the most entertaining action that everybody was watching ! He wins hands down !!

We might have to come up with a new catagory for TAR because they brought the action to hundreds and hundreds of us that would NEVER have been able to see it otherwise........FREE 24/7 with commentary! If nothing else everyone that got the live feeds could spread a little jelly over at thier site!

As far as the players go, there were a bunch of guys in action the whole time, but Shane was in the biggest and won the best match ups. Honorable mention could go to guys like:

>Justin Cone- action hound up n comer who can play! but made some bad games.

>Scooter- constant barking, and in 100% action 24/7 even with himself! ;)

>Cliff Joyner- another guy who never seemed to sleep, but was a little "off" this DCC.

>Scott Frost- SUPER 1 pocket player, and VERY good commentator with the nads to tell it like it is!

Thanks again to the TAR crew, and my vote would go to them hands down.
 
My vote goes to Scooter!

He's not only making action at DCC, he's in the booth trying to stir up basketball action after the Derby with Corvette - lol -

Just like St Louie Louie, Scooter's made some bad games, but undaunted, he just gets back into the box - JUST LIKE LOUIE did!

Scooter's a very entertaining guy and IMO he embodies every trait that is deserving of an award with Louie Roberts' name on it.

The Louie Roberts A/E award is not limited to players. It can be a player, backer, woofer. It's about entertaining action.

There is usually at least one arm wrestling challenge every year. Not this year. A couple years ago, someone got his arm pulled out.
Dislocated at the elbow, I believe.
 
It should be Shane#1 for being wiling to play them all even at their own games and Alex #2 for keeping it going in their 3 races. Those sets were amazing.
 
Cliff Joyner and Scott Frost have already won the award in years past so they are out of consideration. As for FATBOY that was an amazing move and will go down in history, But if FATBOY is willing to flip for 100K he doesnt need any help with the price of the room. It should go a player who is trying to make a living playing the game.

LOL!!! I often wonder how everyone seems to tell the entire internet the rules of the award when they aren't part of the committee!

THere are no rules against winning the award twice.
