Who won Frank? What was the high run? And how late did it go?

And how many play, and what is the entry, and how often are you able to do something like this? There was an older fellow there (Wayne?) that I spoke to several years ago that liked 14.1 and liked to talk about it. Is he still there?

I do know they had 50 players! The entry was only $20 with $500 Added. Plus $100 for the high run. Wayne Norcross was there helping out and playing in the tournament.

So Cal is great. I met up with Laura Friedman when I was there probably 8 or 9 years ago. We spent Friday night at HT, where we played some and sweated a young buck named John (from Bakersfield or somewhere?) with his entourage of friends stepping up to play Marcus C. some 1K sets getting a little weight. The kid won two sets. Schmidt or something like that was his last name.

The next day over at Danny K's was a $30 entry 9-ball tournament that had Schmidt, Chamat, Parica, King Kong, and a host of others. I like these low-entry tournaments where you can mix it up with the best.

Louis, I look forward to seeing your matches on accu-stats. I have never seen you play and am very interested to see your Turning Stone matches. Big congratulations and I hope you continue taking it to the next level.

Atta boy, Louie! We have not had a San Diego player make such a splash on the pool scene since Jay Swanson. Keep up the good work.

They finally broke me down late Sunday and I had to leave. I believe the Dominquez Duo were in positon to split it. Wayne lost the hot seat match to Oscar and I believe he left because of the late hour.

Ernesto was on his way to beating Johnny Kang when I left. I would be surprised if he lost that match . He was well ahead in the score. Great tournament.
