I'm having trouble coming up with a new logo for my cues.
I think its time to depart from signing my cues and start using a CNC logo on the buttcap.

Here is where you come in. I'm looking for you to design my logo. I'm not looking for anything fancy, maybe something old school with a modern flair.
It must incorporate "LP" in some way.

In thirty days I will announce the winner. The winner will receive a wrapless Plain Jane cue built by me with the new logo. The cue can be made of any 2 of these types of woods in any combonation...
Cocobolo
Bocote
Birdseye maple
Curly maple
Purple heart
Kingwood
3/8-10 pin, phenolic joint and buttcap with one shaft and your choice of ferrule and tip.

A computer generated image would be best.

Any arguing or off-hand comments about another persons artwork will result in disqualification from the contest.

You must post your logo to this thread. No emails please.

Lets have fun with this. Enter as many times as you like.

Lee this is a great ideal...

Question, how big should it be? I understand that you can scale it but it still should be legible to the size that you need it to be to fit on the cue.

Not really computer generated but a couple simple but potentially elegant ones I did. Sometimes simple is better. Great idea Lee.

Edit: Final Logo will be a lot smaller :) 1/4" or smaller per Lee's request.

cool deal, I'll give it a shot....if i happen to win I'm going to donate the cue to mnorwoods afterschool program b/c another cue is the last thing i need lol...

Last two and I'm done...wasn't sure if there was a limit on entries :). These are of course downsized to about 1/4" or smaller per Lee's request.
