Made it to Vegas for Mcup 🧡🧡

Life is good!

A friend got me a comp at Caesar’s for 4-5 night’s in a monster suite. Free everything. Nothing better than juice and good friends.

Excited to walk across the street tmr morning and go to the Mcup. Another friend(he plays real good) took care of the ticket for me.

Sitting here looking out at the Strip like a tourist is an odd feeling after living here so many years. The Vegas people live in and visit are 2 different worlds.

I’m super excited to go to the Mcup, I haven’t been to one in a long time. I brought plenty of orange shirts. I wanted an orange tux like the real Fat’s wore in The Hustler-would have been cool. But I couldn’t get one made in time. Unless it was cheesy polyester.

Anyways I’ll post my thoughts and observations here over the next few days. I’m triple blessed to be here and even more excited to go.

I have couches, room for 3 or 4 more beds. Idk how tf I ended up with this room.

I made a biz deal a couple weeks ago with someone I recently met, it involves me being in Vegas from time to time and my contacts here. I knew I was coming for Mcup. He offered me a room when I told him I’d be in town.

Normally I stay at my biz partners house(it’s amazing). But for Mcup a room is much handier than driving 30 minutes each way.

I tipped the valet $40 (that’s a pro move in Vegas) that way don’t have to wait in line to check into the room. Trust me it’s worth it. Anyways the valet walked me to the VIP check-in where there’s no line. That works in almost every joint.

When I gave them my registration number and ID I told them I was just a normal room-they know the valet move. They said “no you’re in the right place”. Hmmmm I thought, ok Fatboy stfu and be cool-this can’t be bad. VIP line and regular room? Don’t add up. The tip gets me in and usually that’s it. They don’t mind because I tipped the valet, and sometimes I tip out the guest registration. Magic in Vegas-not Orlando or LA

The guy recognized my street name on my drivers license. Small world. Million to one. He lived around the corner from my house at his parents house until he moved to Vegas. I mentioned I used to live here.

He said “I’m going to upgrade everything for you”. I said “my friend who comped me this room isn’t expecting me to upgrade anything” I’m not a free loader and I don’t want to use up his comps. The guy said “don’t worry it won’t be extra-I got you, you live by my parents”.

Oh boy! Did I get the hook up. End suite with everything. Not the presidential suite with the piano. But I could live here.

Sadly I wasn’t this lucky with the lottery a few weeks ago. But what a lucky roll this was.

I’m off to bed, I’ll take a pic tmr. Crazy how this worked out.

Who can and can’t transfer comps depends on the size of the person asking to transfer comps. The bigger the whale the more likely comps will transfer to friends and family.

Thats exactly what happened. Small whale-they have bigger suites here. But I’m not complaining.

Just woke up. Heading over in 20 minutes.

Have to go to will call and get my ticket.

This is great. It’s frozen outside, but I’ll brave the elements to get there. (Im a sissy in cold weather-anything below 70 is a crisis)
