Make it Happen Talk 12/15

I was working yesterday afternoon and played pool in the evening, but I decided to buy the stream for the evening session when I got home even though the Darren Thorsten match was already in progress. I'm glad I did. The 2nd half of that match had a lot of twists and turns, and then Shane got into beast mode against Earl. Fun to watch.

Overall pretty good stuff, Shane was in beast mode. Did have issues with dropping the stream shortly after starting one refresh and it worked fine, still something of a pita.
Commentary has been ok, I do hope they get a few different commentators during the matches like they have in the past, could tell Danny and Billy were getting worn out by the end of the day (so was I).

does this ref have to call out the obvious shots? lol "9 ball corner pocket" .....welll duh its 1 foot from the hole.

That reverse long cut on 2 by Thorsten in rack 5 is the cut of the tourney. Probably the best cut I have seen all year

Thorsten is breaking dry whle Shane is just breaking fantastic
Thorsten leads 4-2 and Shane is breaking

Apparently the 10 on the break is a winner? I swear last night they said it spots up on the break. Why have a rule when the fans and players don't know if it's a win or not? That kind of kills any excitement you're trying to generate with that rule. Love Accu-Stats. Love these matches. Just not a big fan of one off rules.

Despite breaking dry most times, Thorsten is ahead 7-4 with some incredible post break play

Thorsten 0,879 Shane 0.848

Shane is breaking

I would be more than happy to support the next MIH event. I would be willing to give up my vote on the players in exchange for a vote if Danny should commentate or not.

Wow
In rack 15, Thorsten kicked and ref Moses said it was good but Thorsten said it was bad and gave up table to Shane
That was bad shot and ref was napping:wink:

Matches won v loss (Racks won v loss in brackets)
Shane 2-0 (26-12)
Jayson 2-0 (26-14)
Kevin Cheng 1-1 (24-19)
Thorsten 1-1 (24-24)
Darren 0-2 (22-26)
Earl 0-2 (9-26)

:)

It is tied 9-9 so it is race to 4 and Thorsten is breaking

Thorsten 0.862 Shane 0.888

Nice 8-10 billiard by Thorsten to win match 13-9
Thorsten 0.881 Shane 0.856

Despite their sub 0.9 TPA, this is probably best match so far
Just goes to show that good matches need not have high TPA
