I Broke so freakin hard, when i stroked through it, i slammed my hand into the table. I Think i broke my finger!!!!

I Did manage to break in 4 balls, one of them being the 9. and i squated the Cue Ball dead center of the table...

And No i am not going to make this my new style of breaking...

Has anyone else ever hurt themself playing pool, or is just me!

Steve

bumping my hip on the corner of the table is a regular painful annoyance.

although my worst pool 'injury' was when i slid my bridge hand onto the table into position and there was a damn splinter stuck in the cloth!! went right through my glove and finger and took a tiny bit of wood off my ob-1!

i was so angry about the fact it was there - the pain was a non issue!

Been there brother!!!

I dislocated my middle knuckle on a valley bar box one time while breaking too hard. It really really hurt. lol

Damaged the pin and shaft in my break cue about two weeks later due to the same thing. I no longer break like that in case you are wondering

I will whack my knee on some of those damn coin slots that stick way too far out from the table. It hits right between the knee cap and joint. Damn that hurts. I hate when I do that.

After 45 years of playing, I still take off skin sometimes. Have I mentioned recently that in some ways Gold Crowns are pieces of dog do-do?

Where I used to play in the Air Force day room in San Antonio, the tables, as a convenience to the smokers and to prevent burned cloth from butts rolling off the rail and onto the green, small pieces of corrugated steel were screwed onto the tops of rails at convenient spots. I managed to hit the edge of one once with my index finger -- just like running my hand into a knife. That is only one of the reasons that I think that the pitiful addicts who smoke in pool halls need to be eviscerated for the good of the species. I've had warts on that hand ever since.

I have done this a few times, one time i bent my ring sideways,i straightened the ring out by putting the ring on a house cue and pushing it down. :)
