I really don't see the logic behind making us check in our cues on airplanes.

Can't imagine how this would effect you mentally before such a big match. Interesting though, Charlie Williams Lost all of his cues on the way to the Big Apple tournament a few years back just before the BCA Nine ball Invitational (now they have changed the name) when Charlie got to Vegas we gave him a new cue and Young Hwa Jeong (who's luggage came up missing with Charlies). Charlie went on to win the event, one of his biggest wins ever!
