MANZINO "La Finestra" Just finished INCREDIBLE

i called him from Germany to find out,

He replied "One of your car's would be a even trade". This guy aint gonna sell this cue for along time:) :p , I dont blame him. I might go buy a wrecked old Lambo and ship that to him, the bait & switch move.:p

I really dont know the value of this cue its north of $30K I would guess. Who knows? It might not really have a price, some cues dont, its 100%the nicest looking cue I have seen for a modern looking cue, I'm really happy for Ken he is a great guy and he deserves it, hell he has owned the worlds strongest cues and he is beyond happy with this cue-how strong is that?? It was cool to hear him talk about it, I love to see people that happy, they designed a hell of a cue and its a keeper for him.
Thanks for the try Fatboy. I couldn't help but notice Ken ignoring my question.

Ok - if you won't tell us how much it was - can you tell us how it hits?

Hello,
I've been contacted by a number of people interested in the cue. I just didn't want to start an avalanche of offers by putting a value on the cue..
This cue is very special and I didn't have it made for a quick sale..
I want to show it off and give Bob the proper credit he deserves for making such a beautiful cue. I didn't want it to go into another collection without everyone seeing the kind of work Bob is creating.. After that being said, It would have to be a serious offer, because I'm very content just holding on to it..

I've hit with other cue's Bob has made, and the feel and response compliments the looks.. I haven't yet hit balls with this one..
I must apoligize for not addressing your question earlier....
Best,
Ken Kerner

Thanks Ken. I hope you weren't offended by my question of the value. It wasn't intended to think that you wanted to sell it - just wondering what you, yourself paid for it or what the cuemaker thought it was worth.

Just like when you see a nice car, nice piece of jewelry, or nice house - you wonder what its value is.

Enjoy your new possession - it is a great looking piece of art.

Hello,
No offense taken..
I just haven't put a $ on this cue.. I'm too busy enjoying it..
The cue was as you probably expected a big investment.. The market value on a masterpiece from Bob like this would only be established when the cue is available for sale..
Best,
Ken

cue

WOW !!!! i would be sleeping, with that one afraid someone would want it also, to nice to use!!!:D :D :D :D :D

IMO bob manzino is the best "show" cue maker in the world ahead of tony scianella (black boar) and aurthur cues right behind him and several others( ginas, jw, several others etc...) lagging a little further behind these three. just my opinion and taste mind you.

What a great piece of art! If I own that cue (I wish!

), I could look and feel like King Arthur wielding his Excalibur!

I'm not a cue specialist.
I'm not a cue fanantic.
I'm not a cue conisour.

But OH MY F---ING GOD, I just got the chills.
Great job Bob! And Ken... well done for what part you had in this as well.
Very nice

300 inlays.....!? Jesus

That's crazy. Are you related to the Kerner who used to own the St Louis Hawks years ago?

By far...one of the most elegant, ornate cues i have ever seen. THIS is what a Collectable cue looks like!!

Ken when the ether wears off and you gather your self, think of my garage your poles and perhaps a deal might be there, I typically dont put this kind of biz in the streets but I need to put YOU on the spot, also when ever you want to borrow the cue for VF etc it will be yours to take, Think how good the ether from getting a real car will make you feel-i'm living proof :) :P .

I have several to chose from, I'm honestly board with cars(never saw that comming) all I like are the big black one and the big white one's(I wont say the names here) this post is about you :), I have them all except a Veryon or is it Veyron, its the best of the bunch( but its not worth $1,900,000 and 33% of them in America are for sale-bad sign) the Mercedes DTM is faster than an Enzo but looks ugly. Btw I did call and what we discussed is in Vegas-but thats nickles and dimes-lets do a players deal like before-no bubble gummers allowed, I think you should get me now while you have the chance my nose is open and lets faceit i'm weak, Bob can build you a cue to top this. I'm more of a Szam, Bushka, Tad old school guy or a Sugartree and new Ginacue guy, but I will do something out of line here....I think. :) Like I said i'm weak right now.

again your welcome to take it anywhere anytime, and tell people what ever you like, just dont mention me please. As you know I had about $100,000 cues at VF and i aint ever been there and nobody but a couple peope knows which poles are mine and never will, i run silent and deep sometimes-this post is an exception but its my only hope. ;) OK yeah i'm full of shit, But.....................................

so whats keeping us apart? ;) i'll sort through my titles and get them ready for you-while you get your poles ready for me. Fair enough?

you know the old saying "the more you bet, the more you win when you win" or "Bet big win big" thses 2 statments describe the deal we might have here, post time is sunday. Best of Luck.

cheers from Germany gotta get to bed. to sleep.

Action.. HMMMM..
Can't hurt to take a peak.. Again..
Remind me whats in the stable..
Best,
Ken

Ok. I gotta admit, I didn't get much of what Fatboy was trying to say what with the spelling errors and poor grammar. But hey! I'll give the guy a break. He hasn't been feeling well lately and as he said, at the time of his post, it was late.

But if I read that correctly, it seems like there's the prospects of some big action here.

Big cues vs. Big cars!!!! I like this!

Now, I don't know much about Fatboy's game, but I know Ken plays REAL strong. This could be good!

I'm generally not a fan of artsy cues, preferring traditional design, but that cue is absolutely beautiful. Well done!
