Mark Griffin called today

I appreciate all the comments BUT - before anybody makes judgment on the facility, at least come and see it.

When you go to a Vegas casino, you cannot smell smoke unless you are within a couple of feet of the source. So please reserve your opinion until we are open and all systems are tweaked.

This place is going to set A new standard for Las Vegas (and beyond). If you are going to make up your mind prior to visiting the room- so be it. But I think this is a step to bring pool back to the masses.

So smile and enjoy!!!!

Mark Griffin

This is too bad. Smoking. No way to keep the odor, live and lingering from cigarette smoke.

Best of luck

Hope the ventilation works great and wishing Mark big success.

best,

This place will be state of the art,Mark is well acquainted with
first class pool rooms

The tight pocketed diamond tables is his only weakness here

If he expects me to make a ball he needs to consider 5.25 inch pockets minimum

When do you plan to open the doors,I am trying to schedule a trip to Las Vegas to see Laurie
I will bring them to the pool room for a fun day out,but I don't want salads or health food
please put chicken fried steak on the menu

How do you get a chicken to fry a steak?
:scratchhead:

Mark, it's a dilemma....pool halls up here smell so much better with our 100% no smoking....
...but it put a lot of pool halls, bars, and restaurants out of business.
so I think you are making a good decision.....
...and I would bet that the air in your room will be a hell of a lot more healthy than the air people breathe when they step outside with a lot of cars on the street.

Nobody ever committed suicide by locking themselves into a garage and smoking a cigarette....they turned the car on.

My cheese..my place

Making a decision to open up a pool room ..sorry, an adult recreation center is no easy decision to make, there are too many things to consider for it to be right for every one. With this understanding we then must try to figure out who if anyone we should cater to:confused: I'm sure most of us have been in situations similar to this, not exactly in opening up a business but trying to keep everyone happy.:scratchhead: Mark, I admire you for your willingness to go forward with this venture, there's a lot at stake here other than ..just your cheese, and i'm sure you have thought long and hard about everything prior to making your decision. Based on your description of the things that you have done or going to do imo I think you're doing a lot of things right and would like you to keep a few things in mind before you commit to the final plans for the center
.

Way to commit there, Bill...... just kidding

In all seriousness, Ive spent time in a "Mark Griffin Pool Hall" the Anchorage Billiard Palace, and it was without a doubt the classiest pool hall I had ever seen up to that time or since.
Congrats Mark, looking forward to going to Vegas and seeing it at some point, as I have no doubt it will be 'top shelf'!
