I Wasn't trying to call anyone out, or say anybody was wrong, because people see what they see. And once you get that in your head, you can't get rid of it. That is why I looked it over so closely. And we have had other cues in the past on AZB labeled as having roll out, by some, and not by others. I personally did not see any roll out on the cue. But I am old and wear glasses
Mason builds a cue with a .825" joint which is smaller than the normal .85" standard joint size by most cuemakers. So when this is put with his Kers shaft taper and rolled on a table it can give the look of a slight taper/butt roll. I am just saying that I do not see anything out of the ordinary. Nothing lifted from the table across the whole cue when it was rolled. And I kept rolling it during every other game over 2 hours. It could be there, but it is very slight(which Sam stated on this thread), and it could just be the subtle differences that Mason builds into his cues compared to most cues out there.
I am a happy customer, and soon one of the local players here in New Orleans will be happy with the cue after I am done trying it out.
Mason's cues hit very well, and I would recommend picking up one of his cues up if you have a chance.
