SVB getting some bad luck right now. Ouch
True.yea but he's also shooting some balls into the rails instead of the pockets
Put your cursor over it and it will show up. FW - frames won and FL - frames lost. FS is the difference. Can someone tell me what the abbreviations FW, FL, and FS stand for on the round-robin standings page?

Also, noticed in the Shaw match, the only thing lit should of been the play surface, NOT the entire room and carpet. They both looked completely bored and were dogging.
Not sure on the excitement factor of this presentation.
Really enjoyed the Ouschan v Filler matchup from the free stream yesterday (2/16).
The final rack was awesome. I thought Filler had Ouschan locked up two or three times, but Albin would not only make contact, but leave Filler a rough look. At one point, Filler good-naturedly smiled and half laughed as he approached the table. I know Albin was excited because he didn’t want to sit down in the lo-rider chair; I usually think he looks annoyed when I see him play. Great competition and sportsmanship to finish out a short set between the two early favorites.
Think the rack started somewhere around the 3 hr 40 min mark and match started a bit before the 3 hr mark.

No reset. All points carried forward from stage 1 (16 players) to stage 2 (10 players) to stage 3 (6 players). That way, players have to play their best for every point in all stages cos tendency is if there is reset, the table leaders will take a nap and quality of their play drop while the bottom minnows can catch up. It is like long non stop race of 29 matches (15 matches in stage 1 +9 matches in stage 2+5 matches in stage 3). Only reset on last day final stage last 4 when it is just single elimination.Wait, do they stick with the ranking after day 5 when the first players are eliminated or does it start over at zero for everyone? I like the idea of an elimination format where all points are kept until the last round and the player or the group of players sitting in last gets kicked out.

I love the format. No upsets from a few lucky rolls. Best player wins. If anything, I may make a races a little longer. More tournaments should use this format. The play of those two has been amazing all week. One benefit to this format is the number of matches--everyone plays everyone so fans can pick and choose what matchups they want to bother watching.
How did you come to this conclusion? I assume you have been watching all the matches. No upsets from a few lucky rolls.
I didn't explain what I meant very well. What I meant to convey is a few lucky rolls is less likely to determine who wins the tournament. The format favors the better players because they are not eliminated as easily as "a few lucky rolls" by their opponent or playing one bad set at the wrong time. I did not mean that a few lucky rolls wouldn't / couldn't produce an upset in any given match. How did you come to this conclusion? I assume you have been watching all the matches.
I didn't see them play, but I would have thought Yapp, and Kaci would be doing better.
