Mechanical pool stick? Too funny

Bruce barthelette or how ever you spell it uses one for some usual bruces "not really a trick shot" Shot

Forget two-stroke, ROCKET POWER, baby!...with lasers.

Or we could make a completely green, compressed air model. Have a foot pump that you drag around connected to the cue. I could see the commentary: "Now shane has been looking at this shot for a while. He's going to have to hit it pretty firm. Okay, he's into his preshot routine, he's giving it one, two, three, four pumps...OH, HE's GIVEN IT A FIFTH PUMP! I haven't seen a five-pumper in years. This is going to be good!"

dld

You win an Internet for that one... That was great!

Saw this the other day. I think Tom Rossman (Dr. Cue) has one for his trick shot shows. Well, not this exact chunk of crap, but another mechanical cue.

i was all set to buy the gold one (the classiest) when i noticed he only takes propay... Wtf is that? Is that fake paypal?

Kind of glad, since the impulse has passed, but a little sad that i won't own this curiosity.

whaattt??!!!!!! He won't accept my wheat bucks?!!!!!!

No offense...

but who said anything about 'pool cue/ball physics' specifically? Again no offense, but you sound like PJ with that kind of a nit pick.

It's a straight line hit with a cue tip to the ball with no human influence. Once the force is measued & dialed in I'm sure Dr. Dave could come up with some differential experiments where the human element casts doubt. Your reference to golf clubs & cricket bats is idiotic by comparison.

Again no offense meant but your post seems to be a bit a troll post aimed to try to make me look idiotic.

Regards,

Troll? Not at all. It was a serious question. I wonder why you would take it otherwise.

Nice of you to say my reference is idiotic. Defensive much? Insecure? Why do you reference somebody else to design an investigation? I don't know who he is, but you can't do it yourself? It's just some simple physics actually.

Have a great day. Sorry I asked a question that made you insecure.

EDIT: Oh...offense not meant? Offense taken anyway. Obviously.

So that's what Al Pacino is doing now.....

Wonder whether it could, somehow, fit into the bonus ball format.

Sorry, if I mis-took your earlier post. I'm also sorry if I did offend you. I did not mean to do so.

Correct perception at times in text format is difficult.

My apologies,

Bca rule 1.3

BCA RULE 1.3 says, in part: "In general, players are not permitted to introduce novel equipment into the game.":frown:

Actually, imagine using that in a real match if you get good at it. It would be the ultimate hustle.

Forget a sneaky pete- pull one of those out and people would be lining up to play you!

in about 1967-8

i made an auto cue for laughts when i was hanging around imperial billiards in downey calif, it was made on the order of an hawaiian sling [ a home made spear gun ] metal rod on the back of an old shaft attached to two pieces of rubber. real crude but it worked. about 5 years ago i made another, wood shaft with a aluinimum butt, spring loaded you could push the shaft back into the shaft, aim and press the button on the butt. it shoots great, no arm wiggle, now using english is another problem.
a buddy saw it and wanted us to get a patent, and sell them. a bit of looking and we found that auto cues had been patented in the early 1900's
