He was already a BCA Hall of Fame lock, but a third WPA sanctioned world championship puts Albin in rarefied air. Of male players still active, SVB, Filler, Gorst, Kaci, Feijen, Souquet, and both Ko brothers have two. Only Strickland, Hohmann, and now Albin have more than two.

I was able to watch it here in the Philippines (on vacation now) on a Vietnamese TV station. Pretty much unwatchable for me. Went back to the Hanoi Open and that tough Rasson table. They were playing some pool there.

I always used to see that pool players would play on the floor if there was enough money involved. This one was close.
