Mike dechaine 2023

I feel he was inexperienced in life, misunderstood, awkward and didn't have very good social skills. He probably needs some counseling.
This is a good assessment.

I knew him and worked with him. I helped him briefly with his website when he switched from OB to Predator. He got a bit weird with me when I started having success with the DigiCue and never figured out why. Maybe he thought I owed him money for some questions I asked him about pool? It was never clear.

He doesn’t like me now but under the surface I always thought he was a nice person with a communication problem that could be fixable. I think he just needed a larger perspective on life which I am sure he is getting.

Spiritually, if you believe in reincarnation, we are all living lives over and over again to learn lessons in order to evolve. We all have lessons to learn and we all have had problems in past lives, etc.

Wait, what?
I've posted about this in the past. Mike will deny it like he always has, but I was two feet away from him and his buddy while they were planning on dumping the set that some older guy was trying to back Mike in. Small time stuff, but it was unreal how giggly they were about it. It was probably 2010 or so, at Snooker's in Rhode Island, and the other guy went by "Super Dave".

Mark Twain once said: "rumors of my demise are greatly exaggerated." For those who think SVB is through, look around at all the talent that has emerged the last few years. I cannot think of any "ANY" player who would play him even up 10 ball for the cash. They would only play with a stake horse not their own cash.

Knockers are the lowest rung in the pool world;)

Wanna bet?? ;)
Oh...you are a bad person.

Guys like have zero heart ... but want to say they are the best in the league or their daddy said they could have been pro.

In pool the money is a way of keeping people honest about where they stand and it's a way to keep score.

Bro you are on the wrong forum.....

The man is not here to defend himself. Lets all stop piling on and assuming we know better. Maybe the man just saw the future and didn't feel pro pool was his best path. As for the rest of the stuff...again he's not here to defend himself. Can we go back to arguing about who stole who's stolen cue design? At least that was funny.

You haven't been around if you believe that. Knockers are by far the worst.
It really depends on whether your desire is to just see any and all gambling, or whether it is to see "above board" gambling.

Personally, I have absolutely no desire to see players gamble, when the outcome has been pre-arranged.

As for how long I have "been around" gambling? Well, since around the time Mike Dechaine was about 13 years old, fams. I was watching Harry Platis, who was the "rainmaker" for the entire Pacific NorthWest at the time I was just learning the game, playing road players right and left, and sending a few of them home a little lighter here and there. I came up in the game in an area that was one of the national One Pocket hotbeds.

I have nothing but absolute disgust for players who cut up their backers.

Didn't he post in this thread? Isn't his handle "Main Player"?
