Mike Sigel - 21 straight games.

JAM you seriously know everybody

You guys gonna make the Bob Stakes Memorial 9 Ball Tourney on the 18th and 19th?? Be nice to see (or play) against Keith.. Get him out of retirement

MENTOS: The TRINITY

MENTOS WOULD BE A SWEET SPONSOR....

The commercial comes on to show mike hooked b/h a stack of balls.....he can't figure it out....

He goes to his case and pops a mentose....walks up to the ball and kick jumps the CB off the rail and pockets the 1/9 combo in the side

MENTOS....THE FRESH MAKER

-Grey Ghost-

I just contacted Mentos. If you check out their website they have lots of television commercials and lots of different products and are INTERNATIONAL. Since they cling to the theory that a fresh breath is good for love, they could start after a couple of new target audiences and call it the trinity. LOVERS • POOL PLAYERS • SILVER FOXES.

GG, don't worry, I'll cut you in on the royalties I get. (Maybe all of the Mentos you can manage.) I'm going to pick some up today.

Jason,
Mike Siegel lost that match 6-8.

you see....he sould have grabbed the mentos....

thanks for the offer Joey for the royalties....I could use all the mentos I can get....hell I may give out a pack of them with each cue I sell, that way my players get that much more out of their equipment lol

I could make a little recess in the buttcap and viola instant mentos freshmaker comparment

So Sigel is living in Frederick, Maryland and teaching pool? I need to make a trip out there if that's the case.

Well, you should ready an assembly line.

I just heard back from the Gatekeeper at Mentos. They actually said they would be forwarding my proposal to the Marketing Department.

OK, don't gear up just yet....

In the match last night vs Wilkie I can only remember one time that Wilkie had a shot at a ball. Sigel was either running out or locking him up with brutal safeties, after which he ran out.

That would have to be true to hold Shawn at 0!

Oh- and remember- Siegel playing the 7 below what he used to play is still an incredibly bad dude!

Back to my question, what is the Pool Room where he is the house pro? Is it in Frederick?

If you read this thread in its entirety, metallicane, you would know the answer. :embarrassed2:

Yes, the pool room is in Frederick, Maryland. The name of the pool room is Champions. It is owned by Gary Allen. They used to have Gabriel tables. Now they are getting or have GCs. Mike Sigel is House Pro. All of this info was previously post in this thread. Hope this helps. :)

Thanks JAM, I did read that, but I did not think there was a definitive yes. I will have to head out to Frederick one day soon.

I'm not sure where you're coming from, but the pool room is right off of I-270 in Frederick. It's very easy to get to. Once you get off of I-270, it's a straight shot about .25 mile. The food is great there, too. ;)

In fact, I might head up there this weekend. It's been a long while since I've heard the sounds of balls breaking. :p

I live in Timonium and used to watch Mike play at the Texas Cue Club (now Johnny C's).

Oh, man, you must be as old as I am.

I do recall that Mike used to hail from Towson way, but originally was from Upstate New York, if memory serves me right.

Where's the action in B-town now? I haven't been up there in a long while. Where's Black Henry play or Fat Wayne? Wherever Fat Wayne is, there will be action.

It would be nice to have a tournament with all of the older greats in one bracket and then then the younger players in another. Have the tournament set up like the amateur where you have to play a certain amount of 8 ball and 9 ball. Then have the winner of both brackets meeting for the grand championship.
