Seems like yet another story, relating to cue makers, as to why one shouldn't make a deposit on a cue with a custom cue maker.

I see nothing wrong with the OP posting his issues here. He was 'reportedly' receiving no response from a cue maker he had given a deposit to quite some time ago. The only fault I find with the OP is why he waited so long, assuming this is all the way it happened? I'd never have waited this long for an answer and would have been sending certified letters demanding some response or taken action long before this time. No business has the right to make you wait forever for a product then give you no response when you ask for one. Once they accept a deposit they have accepted responsibility to deliver a product or refund your deposit in a timely manner.

"To AZ, i am truly sorry about this thread. I've met a lot of nice people on here as well as the other kind of people that love to dwell here. I haven't been near a computer for 11 months now and have no intentions of turning one on now either. I have 12 cues to go to bring me current. I'm working on it the best i can. The computer is a major distraction for me and one i can do without. I only know about this thread because of phone calls and i apologize to my
friends."

I'm glad the OP finally got in touch with Mr. Webb. I read the original post and didn't think he was bashing anyone. Just wanted to get in touch with Mr. Webb. We are all aware that people go thru tough times and things happen. I agree 6 years is a long time. I believe the OP exercised alot of "patience". More than most for sure. And yes....it is "lonely" being a newby to this forum. I've been visiting on and off since 2007 but only to look around at the various offerings of cues and cases. Sometimes, even to see what other people's opinions on tips and such. I am glad I finally joined and have met several AZers in person since. I would hope most of everyone would not solely judge a person based on how many postings they've done or their "iTrader" status. But it is what it is.

Hopefully the OP gets the cues he was waiting for and they shoot lights out. Please keep us posted and pictures please. Mike

Paul,

Can you see if he can put mine on the front burner too? He has some repairs for me and another guy I referred to him that are well overdue. I personally like Mike a lot but really didn't expect this. I think he just has to ship.

Chris
