Let me start out by saying that I have been huge fan of Kamui chalk. I have defended the cost.I hadn't had any issues with miscuing since my first cube a few years ago. I'm now on my second cube.I had my other stolen after a few month of use. It had been well worth the money..IMO. Let's fast forward to the cube being about half way worn down. A friend of mine in the area (AA ranked player)said that he had issues after it got worn down and towards the middle of the cube. He stopped using the chalk. He said that miscuing is happening frequently. It seems like the properties of the chalk have changed and isn't staying on the tip. I hadn't had any issues at all till this past weekend. I was in a tournament and miscued three times on Saturday while using Kamui chalk. Needless to say,I've lost all confidence in the chalk. I will be using Blue Diamond from here on. I'm curious if any others out there have any similar experiences?
FYI..I keep the tip picked, scuffed and in great shape...
